Park doesn't used powdered mix for the soft-serve. I saw them filling it last weekend at Roman Frieze and it was the same liquid mix they've been using for years.
I have heard rumor that it been fairly well gutted on the inside but I can't find an uncovered window to verify.

I think the only reason I haven't marked this thread as Defunct yet is that I desperately don't want to believe it's true.
I freakin' loved Josephine's. It felt refined and sefisticated, they stocked quality ingredients, it offered the ability to customize anything however you liked, and even had awesome seasonal offerings. Josephine's felt like the most-Aquitaine part of Aquitaine throughout every day of the shop's seemingly completely unjustly short life.
If it's dead (which, for the record, I agree that all signs point that way), it will be an incredible loss.

I just hope most these changes aren’t irreversible in the future (like undoing infrastructure or destroying old blueprints).
It also seemed like a lot of the time it had a fairly decent line of people waiting to order. So I'd have to believe that it did good business when it was/is open. I just hope they are remodeling it to make the flow a little better as once you got inside it was like a free for all while waiting for your order.
I'm just hopeful it isn't replaced by La Dippin' Dots.
I personally don't consider this a loss. On multiple occasions I tried to get ice cream but was told by the cashier after waiting to get to the cashier that it would be another 30 minute wait to get ice cream. I miss Le Grande Glace.

Chick-fil-a at BGT now charges more than a dollar per chicken nugget. You don't want a Chick-fil-a in the park.

Did it really do great business? I never ate anything because my experience on multiple attempts to do so was that the traffic flow was horrible not because they had so many people but because the service was extremely slow. Ling lines sometimes give the impression of better business then what is really being done
