I mean it could be a way to rack and stack orders so no one has to wait etc.....I mean it could....it could, but IS it used that way....

I do think mobile ordering is a great idea for Josephine's. It was confusing that they had the front door closed, and until we saw the badly positioned A-frame, we thought it was closed. But in theory, it might help with their lines.

Since people were curious about this new, super high tech system (and for reference:

Pro tip?

I have a notes page on my phone that I always have member numbers for various things so I can just copy and paste in situations like this.
On my iPhone I created shortcut keys to autofill that info because I got sick of repeatedly signing in on an app that I had already signed in on/re-entering my pass number. For example, @@ = (email address), && = (pass number) Not much less frustrating, but slightly so.

I have noticed, however, that you'll get a slightly different discount on the website vs. app, and vice versa. Usually not a significant amount, but worth keying it in on both platforms for larger purchases.

EDIT: The discounts aren't consistently better on either platform, but I have had better luck getting bigger discounts on the website as opposed to the app.

I haven't been park hopping as much as I'd like, but this is ridiculous. Hershey seemed to do pass perks much better than BGW. It's beyond time for an infrastructure update around POS in parks and on the web. How rewards are disjointed even on the website is mind boggling.

Sadly, I work with new and legacy systems so I'm fully aware of the challenges of an overhaul. I've been dealing with sunsetting a legacy system for over 4 years, and it finally happened in June. Money is required.

Their mobile ordering attempt must have failed because Josephine's has now been removed from the park's dining page. Who could have guessed people wouldn't buy food when the doors to the restaurant are closed and there's just a little a-frame sign explaining an annoying, convoluted process to order food that has relatedly failed for years now. 🙄
