Also, interesting fact, the park has bought every last hand painted glass C9 bulb in the country. Team members were told if the lights broke and they ran out of spares, they need to start painting clear ones because there are no more. Of course you can still buy transparent colored C9s, LED C9s but it is just the hand painted glass C9s you can't purchase.
This is obscene. Why would a theme park be going to every store in the country buying lights when they could have ordered them from wholesale companies. Never have I ever heard of a theme park buying regular store shelf lights. What has happened?
Scott REALLY wants to be authentic with these lights. Do not underestimate the power of detailed theme decor. As for the purchasing online and wholesale ideas, I think I'll try to go with this. With wholesale lights, you don't get the real hand painted despite what may be advertised, therefore it won't satisfy Scott. Then purchasing online, perhaps the stores have a limited amount they have still kept for online purchases. I will be doing more research on this topic. Remember 1 million C9s are bing use in Festa alone. In fact each Christmas tree has its own circuit rather than sharing a circuit with surrounding trees, for safe power reasons.
