I recommend those saying this look into heat and mass transfer engineering courses as well as higher level chem classes. I love laughing at the uneducated.

I love laughing at those who take themselves way too seriously...

Well I was not expecting you to bite the bait.

As far as Festa goes, the trees look amazing (by the way side note: the trees in Festa are live cut trees that have been flocked with fake snow and then each hold approximately 50 to 150 C9 bulbs each) however I think a fire might break out. Have you ever felt the heat from a C9 bulb before? Hold it for too long you can potentially burn yourself. I believe I had a few personal ones last year that melted some duct tape and tinsel. Anyways, I am going to go with Atlantis on this. There are different kinds of incandescent hand painted light bulbs, and the park could have bought all the readily available bulbs at the time, and so I think this seems much more accurate. Also, four of the C9s cost $1. So if there is a million of them. So how much did the lights all cost?

As far as crowds go, the park WILL be using the overflow lots this year for parking. A nice little expansion on that end there. I think that crowds will probably stay the same for the most part. I mean the BOGO offer was just as popular as the $5 Tickets. Both offers crashed their site I believe, and then take into account a new area, so I'd say crowds will be pretty even.

I am not Scott. Although, I would love it or at least to have his position. It is so amazing, to control everything. Sadly, the last few times I've seen him he looked pretty upset and distraught. Perhaps Festa won't finish on time? Festa has been the main nerve of work for the past day, and then tomorrow. My information is purely from sources that I seek out and are mostly primary.

Personally, aside from his public appearances I have never seen Scott smile so don't put too much thought into that.

Well it looks like I'll be heading to the park for Christmastown opening day on Friday. I'll try to post a trip report if I can.
One of the major things I'm looking forward to about CT is another Verbolten night ride. I've only done it once, but I swear it was one of the most sensually amazing coaster experfences I've ever had. That ride is made for the night. Not only that, but now riding in the crisp, cold November air too? I truly think it could be a spectacular ride. I'm also looking forward to Mach-excuse me, Nacht Tower as that will be my first night ride on that. :)
Overall, I'm pretty excited for CT and I think it's gonna hopefully not only meet, but exceed some expectations.

Sounds like there will be quite a few of this web site's forum members at CT Friday. Do any of you guys ever meet up in person at the park? Just curious.

According to their latest mailer it looks like they will have a 2012 Passmember exclusive pin (if you like that kind of stuff). Their calendar isn't working on the christmastown website.

Anyone thinking about doing the dinner at the festhaus? it's $35 and you get all you can eat with reserved seating for Deck the Halls.

I'm not sure if I'll do more than just take a peak into Festa. I hardly spend any time over there normally except to ride AC. Maybe I'll catch the train from there.

Festa is the only thing that needs work, it was the only area that was the center of attention the past two days. I also heard some rumors that employees had to stay until early in the morning today to get it finished.

Nothing new. But they will have it done. Can't wait to see how Festa looks tomorrow

I can see it on the news now, "Busch Gardens New Area for Christmas Town "Holiday Hills" was burnt to a crisp Friday night as trees cought fire with the old fashioned c9 bulbs. Over a million of these hot incadesnt bulbs are featured in this area alone. Parks spokes women repeatedly told us that the park will be in normal operation excluding Holiday Hills Saturday as workers paint new bulbs for the area."

Ironically, I am sitting in the lobby of The Williamsburg Hotel and Conference Center (right down the road from BG) right now, and just heard lots of sirens. Hope no one left the Festa lights on last night ;-)

I just saw Gloria at 4:30. I must say, I was very impressed. Everything that was wrong with it last year was fixed. It's no longer Gloria: A PowerPoint Presentation. More to come later...

Gloria was a tad better this year. Not as much of a powerpoint presentation and no more Three Wise Lady Gagas. Although, it's still not my thing. I'm going to watch Fiends when I get home for some much needed debauchery
