Looks like no general public offer will be held this year. If that is the case then I will be willing to excuse the issues today with a step in the right direction for passholders.

I read somewhere that they would not be offering the Friday evening Twicket this year. So this appears to be what is going to be the best deal that pass-holders will have access to. Aside from the logistics of purchasing online this is an awesome deal. 6 dollars and 75 cents for a ticket is not bad. They need to end the shenanigans and roll Christmas Town into the annual pass. I would be willing to pay an extra 50 bucks for that. What do you guys think?

Let's make it 30 more, done deal. I'm a tight wad. But I doubt that would happen, unless they end up making hos a separate event.

Finally got my tix. Ended up picking up 12. Sell the one's I don't plan on using for $7 to my friends.

had to go through the christmastown.com website instead of bgwpass.com.

You didn't have to provide a name for each ticket?

Yea, I put my name on all of them. They don't enforce that. You can even call them later and have them change the names too I guess.

$0.99 refill ain't bad for their awesome hot chocolate. I got at least 2 maybe 3 cups at home I plan on bringing.

I'm looking forward to the gluhwein. :-D

I am able to get into the website this evening. But am not sure what to do to get the free tickets. I need 3 + 3 free, but the only option I have is the 3 1/2 off tickets. If I continue to checkout, they still don't show anything additional.

Are they out and took it down?

I found an article posted stating that this was only intended for Wednesday or until supplies lasted. After the technical glitches, it was extended until 5:00 pm yesterday. So I assume, I have missed out.

Anyone ready for a quick Holiday Hills report?

Well here we go, it turns out the park has removed the Festa Italia sign and carriage from next to the bridge and has been building a giant billboard saying Holiday Hills, Population 365 with all these other little details. The bridge will have road markings on it, the yellow and white lines as if you were driving into this retro area.
You can expect plenty of vintage retro Coke advertisements on billboards. These billboards will be covering up Apollo's Chariot, Splashus Maximum, etc. The 3 Point basketball game will be converted into a mini light show/countdown to Christmas display. Ring toss with the old fashioned Coke glass bottles will be there.
Much like during Howl-o-Scream La Cucina will get a heavy make over including Team Member outfits. Team Members will be dressed with diner hats, aprons, white shirts, and red bow ties, with a real diner experience. They did a lot of research for this. A 15 foot gaudy giant metallic multi color Santa will be in front of the tea cups and a Snowman in front of the Trade Winds.
The Elephants on Elephant Run have been removed and replaced with reindeer cars.
The Gingerbread men from Entwined are back and available for photo opportunities at the Roman Rapids gift shop. The Apollo's Chariot gift shop is amazing, it will be filled with record players, Easy Bake ovens, etc. You will be able to buy vintage retro items from here.
If you can, try to invision a complete re-theme from Festa Italia to Route 66. Everything will be using incandescent multi-colored C9 light bulbs. In fact, Scott claims that the park has bought all the C9 light bulbs in the entire country. You will not be able to buy C9's from your home because BG took them all already. I am not sure how true that much is, but they will have tons.

I am very excited to see this area complete or near completion. It just sounds amazing to me and it really sounds quite interesting. Scott said that the main idea for Holiday Hills was he wanted to have America added to the park as far as a village goes because we have all these amazing European christmas, but we are missing ours.

If this is true, consider me EXTREMELY excited about this season's Christmas Town. I was skeptical when I first heard about Festa's theme this year, but the more I think about it, the more it just seems to fit with the look and feel of Festa.

Deck the Halls has an interesting stage setup. There is a balcony and a large fireplace. The musicians will be sitting in the same boxes as they were for Night Beats. Interesting is all I can say about the stage setup this year.

EDIT: I would also like to say sorry, Disney has the most lights with 8 million but they clump theirs all together vs. spreading it throughout the whole park. Funny story abut Pompeii though, their goal was actually to put something in there that was visible from the highway. Mission accomplished. However most of the BGW's lights aren't clumped together, sorta.

So... They aren't replacing the Giant TeaPot with Santa or putting the Snow Man in the middle of TradeWinds?

Thats what I gathered from this.

The way I was told was the Santa and Snowman were going to make great photo ops. I do know the Tea Pot has been removed from the ride.

Thanks for the update PR!!
Assuming this is accurate, is it just me, or is anyone else concerned about the possible Americanization of BG Williamsburg (Europe)?
