Let's remember the park's attention right now is obviously on Verbolten so it makes sense that people aren't talking about other future projects.

Has this BGWFans forum put together a shared, public (or semi-public) Google Map for use here on the BGWFans page and in the forums?

A "My Maps" map in Google where selected BGWFans mods have marked the locations of various things?

Google? Google Earth?
 
I believe there's one out there that's used in the BGWFans Android app but it just includes attractions and whatnot. Were you looking for property lines or something to that effect? It wouldn't be a bad idea.

Yep. The Android app. Hadn't thought of that.... My son, btw, remarks that he can't use the app on his cell phone within the park because the Wi-Fi isn't available. Not sure if this is a real issue or user error.........

I note that folks here occasionally refer to this or that feature in its geographic context, and sometimes post a pic of an overhead image of their own selection and creation. It'd be nice if there was a standard overhead image (or set of images, to avoid clutter) of the park where various items of interest (real or imagined) could be viewed.

I'm not sure of the best vehicle for doing this. The existing Google-based Android app, the Google map site, Google earth, Bing maps, etc.

Yeah... It's pretty flat there and they could rework the curve after that so the hill won't be so steep

I am sure after the hefty price tag on Verbolten, and the leaks that seemed to over exaggerate a certain situation, the park may have delayed those plans until further notice. I wouldn't say the plans are gone, but probably on hold at most.

Now in regards to the resort specifically, I can say this is misinformation given out by the park on purpose. My little birdie had said that this September they will announce the resort. Not saying this hasn't been put on hold, BUT you can count on it being in the near future.

I have to agree with you on your post. We will have to wait until they say something on Pass Member Appreciation Day on what they have planned for the 2013 season.

I made sure to note the resort was not announced in the PHAW thread. Along with some other information.
 
Is this still in the rumors because this past year I have been asking around like employees about it. And they are all saying that they have heard of it, and they said they think it is coming to.
 
Yea I Have Totally easdroped on random conversations employees were having. This was when the rumor just came out and they were talking about it...;)

I wouldn't be surprised if they put it in sometime this Season...:cool:
 
I have mixed feelings about a new train station. It might be nice to have another stop at Germany Oktoberfest, but at the same time it will ruin the nice, long peaceful ride from Festa to New France.
 
I think it is a better experience walking into Germany. Either crossing the bridge from San Marcos, seeing Verbolten drop, or from Rhineland (unless it's Easter time and they play that farkin' Peter Cottontail song over and over), seeing DarKastle ahead, and the midway games. I dunno, I just think it is a cooler experience than to come from the Festhaus Park area.

Even if they added a train station there, it would be useless with nothing back there. It's path, path, path, train station. The only cool thing back there is the warehouse of Verbolten, but even most of us saw that during HoS. They need to put some type of attraction, game, resturant, of show to make people go back there and get on the train. Just sayin'.

I may be late on this but I haven't seen it posted yet.
This was taken between the trestle and the old Drachen Fire stations, and was listed under 2014 expansion.
