The area that I'm talking about is the new station location that would need to be regraded so it's flat enough so the train has no way to roll on its own when the train breaks are released. All this work is done with a few pieces of railroad work equipment (tamper, undercutter, backhoe and a ballast car), but mostly done with a tamper and ballast car like we did at my trolley car museum (BSM) to make small changes in the grade. You be surprised how much play is in the tracks when you don't have any stone under the ties.
