Ah, got it. I'm not too familiar with Tracks so I didn't really understand the source.

Thanks for posting the first 1.5 miles of contour. It looks like running the circuit "counter-clockwise" is no slam dunk. Interesting to think about, though.

Reversing the circuit would not be as easy as one might think. The turnouts at Caribu are desined so that the trains can pull straight in and the engine will be in front and in the maintenance area for repairs. This way they do not have to uncouple the passenger cars and store them on another track. Then the entire train can be backed out on to the main line. If they reverse it they will have to build new turnouts that would have to start past the New France service area crossing (the crossing just after the Caribu Station).

As far as the incline. There is one going into Festa. I have actually seen both the red and blue train not make it into Festa and have to back up to the Pompeii area to get another running start.

With all the changes in elevation the train speed doesn't change much and doesn't go over 10mph.

BTW, thanks for sharing with us.
 
Usually vegetation is planted to control erosion. Backhoe digging and heavy equipment of the sorts seem like strange erosion tools. You could very well be right. I have no knowledge in the field of 'theme park erosion' or it's prevention methods.

Some of the dirt was being transported between the Festhaus Park and the Bavaria Parking Lot. You can't just pick up dirt and move it. You also have to make sure the area from where you are moving the dirt or the area you are putting the dirt does not erode. If they really were working on a train station you would know by these green flags:

- Permits must be filled before starting any work
- The work would not be that far away from the tracks
- Work would start during the winter, the park rarely does work during the operating season unless the project they are working on is very time-consumable

Planning around erosion, before removing large amounts of earth, makes sense. Now I am educated. Thanks PR!

Of course not! Especially with the fact that theyre too broke to even hire back most HoS scareactors due to budget,Yeah, any Scare Squad member who works in the park cant work HoS as SCare Squad, from a good source.

Team Memebers can't work scare squad this year due to the employment issues. Scare Squad is seasonal, most of the park is Variable. In order to switch your status from Variable to Seasonal you have to be unemployed for six months. It's more complicated than a simple no you can't.
