The Emporium is getting worked on this off season to increase size and supplies. So with that, I don't think so.

If they remove the Oscar the Grouch play area then there is room behind the British Baker. That "play area' is a joke as a play area anyways.

PS don't worry, I was hoping someone was going to resurrect this thread. :)

I would love that play Area being removed,i doubt it will though because fof can get so packed removing anything would just cause overcrowding. Even though i would love to see it leave, it wont

Yes, our Sesame Street is much smaller than Florida's. It could also go on a deck behind the Sweets Shop, where the lockers and what not are. Before Mach Tower went in. Der Katapult was built on a deck.

No, that deck is very relaxing way to end a day and i would miss it, i say demolish lod of dragons and put all the flat rides from festa there, then festa can begin its full transformation from a cheesy area of the park to athens greece!

You just have to take out all the kidsiderate area rides and such and then make it semi-kidsiderate and retheme the area entirely.

Why would you want to remove all the flats from any area of the park? If anything, this park needs more flat rides. Although if Festa ever does get rethemed to Greece, you can't let the teacups stay as the "Turkish Delight". awkward. Unfortunately, I don't see anyway to fit the Tea Cups into England, now that Sesame Street has taken over the petting zoo area.

I think moving the flat rides in Festa to LoD would be a GREAT idea! LoD is cool and all, but it is getting old and outdated. There for sure is enough room in LoD for 3 small flat rides, just depends how they lay them out.

I think that lod should stay for now. If you remove all the flats from festa you just have one big ugly slab of concrete. I say just move elepahant run. It's the smallest flat there. But I'm not sure where to put it. Maybe remove lil Clyde's? I never see a line.

Leave The rides in Festa Italia as is, Remove Roman Rapids. It's the best option. It takes up SO MUCH space... Looks to be just about as much as festa italia itself... They could install a Huss Land of Giants, themed to the 4 of the Titans. Huss has a new family ride that can get riders plenty wet called Delirium as a replacement for roman rapids. Best of all the water features can be turned off in winter months, but the ride could still operate.

All of Huss's flats are highly customizable. Just look at what Kings Dominion did With tomb raider, and imagine the concept picture themed to Neptune?

A ride with fire Themed to Vulcan. Possibly one of the giant "Jump2" With an impressive show for spectators...

Maybe a Huss "Fly Away" Themed to Icarus

And Finally A giant Huss Frisbee themed to the Anemoi. Edit: Upon a quick google search I found that there are none of the largest model in existence... So it has the potential to break a world record.


It would a very visually impressive addition to the land, as these rides are HUGE (I believe one of the models of the Giant Frisbee stands at over 110ft, then the gondola would reach well over 150 feet in the air...) , They are all highly customizable. They all have a great hourly capacity which would mean that area would be constantly flowing. They would Expand the area greatly, And give thrill seekers something to do other than the parks 5 rollercoasters, plus mach tower... Delerium is more of a family ride But it would fill the "I want to get wet" spot, left behind by roman rapids.

The base price of the 3 or 4 rides would end up Just over the cost of one giant thrill coaster (and far beneath what they announced for verbolten), and they could renovate and revamp Festa Italia the way they did Oktoberfest. Plus the marketability of Giant huge rides no park in Virginia has that shoot fire and water at you and look absolutely insane? It's a win win. The only ride that May have any sort of reliabilty problems is the delirium ride, but the concept of the ride, minus the water fountains/show is not new.

I think it is a pretty good idea. Don't remove and rides, just retheme the area and rename rides. It would be nice to have a new country. Plus, when they were adding it, it seemed like they wanted to make italy bigger. If you had to pick one country to make bigger it would be scotland. It would be cool, but probably won't happen.

Roman Rapids will NEVER be removed. Its a traditional white water rafting ride that a lot of guests enjoy and love. If you visit the park, most days the line is long. Especially on hot days. It's the only ride you can count on getting super soaked all the time. They could expand Festa by going into the stables area; there is plenty room there. The only thing is, how important is the part of the stables they plan on removing?

Festa italia needs to be fully rethemed around roman gods. Scrap the whole marco polo thing, its not even evident that it is the theme at all. Festa is the ugliest hamlet in the country(yes uglier than seasame street) and it needs a total retheme. Dont change it to greece, but retheme it that it makes you feel your still in italy, not at the local carnival
