I do not believe we have evidence one way or another yet. There are a variety of explanations for their removing a section of the back of the mountain. All of the data we have seen in ambiguous, and people really should stop jumping to conclusions. It degrades their credibility.

I mean honestly, this still doesn't 100% confirm the mountain is completely gone. They could just be taking out that one side to demolish the supports on the inside...? ¯\(ツ)

I know some think it is the end of the mountain. But, I stated earlier that the park might have to remove the whole back half of the mountain structure to get at the coaster supports/track in the center part of the mountain. I could see them continue removing the back half of the mountain toward Avalanche to about the halfway point on the lift hill. I am not throwing in the towel just yet. ?

Even if the park takes everything down, it appears that the 2 story queue house is going to be saved for something. The workers were very careful to detach all connections between it and the mountain (or at least the one bridge to the station area). At this point, I am still in no rush to sign a sympathy card or send flowers for the mountain's demise.

Tick . . . Tick . . . Tick.

It looks like they could smack a wall across that, or a big low building for that matter, but both would not look good for a coaster.

It's not quite the point of no return but really close.

As to why they should save it, simple, place is flat.

This confirms it: Chiller is on the way up from Beto Carrero World. Blasting out the back of the mountain.

There's room in there for Speed: The Ride, too. They already have the electrical infrastructure available on site.

2021 is looking up!
