I never realized looking at this view how easily you can see all the times that they've modded the mountain to work with different attractions. And on the topic of the mountain 'demo', it looks like it would be VERY difficult to take any of the coaster down without taking away part of it. Majority of the coaster is on the park side of the mountain.
No problem. Next time I know that FOF creates a huge shadow during sunrise and I'll go out later in the day.@Johnkleindl: Awesome! Thanks for sharing! That makes a world of difference.
It was a damned good ride, if short, and I was VERY briefly hopeful when it was carefully disassembled and moved.Speed is ready to load in trucks. It might be a little sun faded baking in a vacant Las Vegas lot....
When you’re demoing a nearly 200 foot structure, you kinda gotta be careful. They seem to be in such a strange halfway rip it all out and halfway “be careful”.

Yeah, but does that typically include a careful stripping and removal of interior walls?

None of this looks careful
Wack probably sold some of the scrap wood. Aged wood goes for a premium in many areas. They literally had a group of men pulling individual nails out of wooden planks on the bridges and doorframes.
