I never realized looking at this view how easily you can see all the times that they've modded the mountain to work with different attractions. And on the topic of the mountain 'demo', it looks like it would be VERY difficult to take any of the coaster down without taking away part of it. Majority of the coaster is on the park side of the mountain.

Also, they would need a large portion of the mountain demolished to add a future attraction. If the mountain is staying, why not demolish as much as allowed of the mountain to make the demolition of volcano easier.

It was a damned good ride, if short, and I was VERY briefly hopeful when it was carefully disassembled and moved.

Shortly thereafter... not so much.

I don't believe the Moutain will be kept. The ride is too woven in to keep it, and I can't see CF spending the money to keep it. Plus, they aren't ripping it apart in a coordinated manner at all, they're just ripping it apart. I think they'll start over with that spot.
