I havent ridden it yet but ive heard nothing but good things about the SkyRocket II trains (aside from the comfort collars). How tall are you?

I'm 6'2" and I've personally found—outside of the collars—they are some of the most comfortable seats on any coaster.

I'm sorry to hear you had troubles :(
Yeah it was the only time it bothered me so maybe just a 1 time thing

I’m also 6’2, but I’ve realized avoiding the back row of each car is important to avoid extra pain on Tempesto.

There’s a metal block on the third row of each car underneath the seat that prevents your legs from moving back further. If you’re taller, the shin guard already restricts your movement greatly, combine this with the metal block behind your legs and it’s a true challenge to find any comfort. The first two rows of each car have slightly more room to put your legs back, which helps reduce the cramped sensation for taller folks and allows a sliver of freedom.

And at 6'4" with size 15 feet, I have been sitting in a back row for nearly every ride I've ever taken on Tempesto. Just can't remember to pick the first or second row. Stuffing my shoes into that inadequate floor space is infuriating. The occasional front row seat has been a welcome respite from my poor memory and worse luck.

I'd appreciate a 15-minute preparatory yoga class while waiting in line, so I'm ready for the twist-and-duck maneuver required to get myself over the side bolster, down into the seat, and under the comfort collar simultaneously. Hard mounting the tops of the collars to the seatback is easy for the manufacturer but annoying to at least some (if not many) riders.

It's probably good to keep it to control festa crowds (although I would not be mad if it was removed)

I'd be shocked if they spent the money to remove it so soon after building it. The ease to operate and the fact that it eats some people will leave it running for a while, but if they think saving 3-4 staff members is worth shutting it down, I'd expect long-term SBNO before removal.

Even then, they put enough into theming the area around it (theming meaning paint and signs) to probably not want to just chop it, but I also thought that with DK being a massive ass castle.
