I think the only two reasons it'd be removed is if parts become incredibly expensive or non-existent, or they relocate it to either a different hamlet or another SEAS park.

As much as I despise the location of the ride, I do applaud its ability to eat GP like no tomorrow. Walking past the ride there's always a bunch of audible "No ways"! or "This thing goes backward?" being emitted from guests. I'm unfamiliar with the ridership, but it seems like this ride is semi-popular, especially based on its location in the park tucked away in the back of a hamlet mildly far away from the main circular loop.

The opening of Pantheon will be a true test to see if the novelty has worn off, but until that happens, every time I see a wait time on Tempesto it will continue to make me smile a little bit knowing that they made the dire mistake of going on Tempesto and not Apollo's Chariot.

When Patheon opens up, this ride will be a “I don’t really want to wait in a 1hr que” ride...

Tempesto is fun to look at going up the Apollo lift hill and SRIIs are fun. No practical reason to remove it either.

I actually don't mind the absurdly crammed location they put it in. It's actually kind of impressive it fits there at all.

I don't mind the crammed location in and of itself, but I hate how it ruins the grand scale and looming presence that Apollo's first hill used to have, especially when viewed from the road while driving towards the toll booths.

Honestly if they were to have found a little extra space it could easily be themed to the garden of inventions - maybe place it down the ravine behind the shop/gelato stand in San Marco so it'd appear shorter, assuming they don't murder all the trees back there.

I agree with that, for sure. Apollo's looks so much smaller now, nobody gets that "woah" factor really.

Though I support this coaster's existence for the sole reason of adding another tally to the park's coaster count, so hopefully after Pantheon and Festhaus Park the number of 9 is sufficient enough to where they focus on a different type of attraction than just coasters, maybe something to bring some theming back to the THEME park.

I know, crazy times where someone on this forum complains about too many coasters being thrown about the past 6 years. I'm just an Oceaneering fanboy who will never get over DK.

It may seem like Pantheon, but once you ride it will be clear they are not similar. Tempesto is super intense, but it can be in a bad way.

This conversation has got me thinking. Maybe the reason Tempesto isn’t as near as good as many of the other coasters is because there just wasn’t enough space. I think that the park did the best with the little bit of space they had to use. And it’s more fun than that water balloon game that used to be there (and doesn’t cost extra money)...

I mean, it's basically a modern boomerang model. And it was an off the shelf offering that SEAS likely got a break on for prepaying for 3 of them at once.

Unrelated:
I know some will hate this, but for visual/ride experience interest, I wonder if it would have been possible to angle Tempesto so Apollo's lift went through Tempesto's structure.
