Does anyone know the name of the person listed as "elegant dancer" (she doesn't have a singing role; she wears a green corset) this year?

Also, why doesn't Busch Gardens list the names of the performers (they just have their picture with their role but not their actual names listed)?

Privacy perhaps? In an era of social media, providing a name and photo seems like it might make it a bit too easy for creepers.

Oh we can still figure it out.

I'm pretty sure there is a framed poster inside the theater with photos of the cast in costume and their names. There was last year, and it was in the walkway between the concessions stand and the theater doors.

Did anyone see the show saturday 12.23? I saw the first two shows and it seemed that there were 5-6 fewer actors at the second show. Also there is now a woman playing ghost of Christmas present and there was a new bob cratchett in the second show.

I saw her on Thursday. It was a pleasant surprise to me, as I only knew her to swing for Martha Cratchit, Mrs. Fezziwig, Bella, and Ghost of Christmas Past. She is obviously a versatile performer.

Unfortunately, I felt like the rest of the cast (almost everyone) was strangely under-performing. They were just going through the motions. I think it was partly because of all of the sudden cast mix-ups. This is normal under those circumstances. A lot of re-blocking has to be done, which is very strenuous.

Another thing that I saw recently was Marley's ghost not appearing. The animation of the chains in the background continued, and Scrooge adapted quickly by looking all around himself instead of where Marley was supposed to appear. Overall, the cast members in this show have always done a good job of improvising and implementing "B plans".

Why the sudden issues with the cast? I assume this is just temporary?

I do love hearing about how the show and performers adapts with different "B plans." COS, when Marley failed to appear, how did the show convey the crucial plot details his character speaks? Did his voiceover come from off-stage?

Yes. At first, Scrooge looked in the direction where Marley usually enters. His voice came from offstage and eventually, Scrooge looked around the theater instead of at the invisible ghost. I have heard that in the past, when the flight rigging is down, Marley will deliver his spiel on foot. Perhaps this was a last minute issue of the performer not being able to use the rigging?

Any show without flight is basically acted out like the scene with The Ghost of Christmas Present. They just dance through the time travel sequence on the back platform.

The first picture is from an electronic sign outside of the Globe theater.  I thought the image on it was static as it was on it for a good while but then it changed.  When it did one of the performers picture came up and it looked like his bio and part in the show were listed, but I didn't get a good look at it or take another picture.  I also included some pictures from the show back on the 23rd.

Here are some more pieces of concept art. I am still working on cleaning up most of them.

it was right before, the couple and i’m assuming one of their friends were up in the space between the front row and the stage. the friend got the attention of the crowd said something along the lines of “christmas is full of surprises with presents and all, but how about one more surprise” and then he proposed. the character who juggles the ball into his hat congratualted them at the beginning of the show and that was it! the whole crowd freaked out though, it was really positive and sweet
