Got a chance to finally see this show. I LOVED IT!! This show was spectacular. The video mapping was not "up in yo face" like London Rocks, it was just a mere background for the actors. The actor that played Scrooge was simply amazing! I watched him the entire time and I never saw him break character. I also enjoyed Fessiwig. He was very amusing. My one piece of advice for the park, DO NOT CHANGE ANY PART OF THIS SHOW! It is perfect as it is, making any changes would completely ruin it.
This traditional telling of "A Christmas Carol" really made my visit to the park (and overall Christmas spirit) way better! No holiday season is complete without "A Christmas Carol", and the park really hit it out of the park with this one! The only bad, but little, thing that I saw was some parts of the video mapping was very blurry, especially when the Ghost of Christmas Present is being projected. Very blurry, almost like it should be a 3D film.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this show and I hope it returns (with no changes) for years to come.

That's interesting Doglover. I also watched Scrooge yesterday and the original lead guy was performing. I've seen both perform and enjoyed the original much more. He's less 'jolly'

That is kind of strange! I guess the lead was only out for one show yesterday,or something? I really wish I would have been able to see this show more than once because I would have loved to see the original lead as well. I'm sure I would have enjoyed his performance a lot also, if not even more! :)
 
I have seen both actors in the show - and they both definitely have their strengths. The lead Eb definitely felt more like an Ebenezer Scrooge, as Alpenghöst said, more miserly and gaunt. But understudy Eb really hit the emotion of the part, especially after waking up from the visits. Both are outstanding. And even the actor playing young Eb had a great voice. :) All-in-all one of the top productions at the park in 39 years, IMO.

I Saw the show 4 times Sunday, and the leads alternated for them so I saw each Scrooge perform twice. They were both very good, IMO. I will admit it was a shock the first time I saw the "petite" Scrooge walk out, having seen only the taller one previously.
I agree this was the best show I have seen at Busch Gardens. Also, I think I have memorized the show at this point...

I'm so mad I didnt go to the park for CT! I was sure this would suck, and apparently it didnt suck! Thats what i get for not being Optimistic for once! I guess it fell down to the fact im in between jobs and dont really have the money for the park...Still wished Passholders could get in! I'm glad to see good quality shows come back to busch!

This show was certainly my favorite addition to Christmastown this year. The only thing more entertaining than this show for me was, watching the emotional roller coaster that it sent my Daughter on :)

Does anyone know if Mr. Scrooge will be played by the same performer as last year? We really liked the show, but thought he was particularly good.
