My only problems with this ride
- Capacity, the cycle time and throughput seems kind of bad
- Theme, if the rumors are to go by then they really are phoning it in with the station platform etc.
- They just put a magnetic launch boomerang in (I don't even think people would be mad at this if Flash was a Ghostrider instead, honest)
This industry lives partly on frivolity and everything is a gimmick until it is a proven winner, so I think they can get away with building ridiculous bullshit and finding out what sticks (Dragster then TT2 fall into this, Ka too, then Falcons Flight as well). This ride is probably gonna be fun? However I also think this park is very bad at Thoosie PR and their planning appears suspect from the outside. You can have the low capacity gimmickbahn if you also have some people eaters and on this side of the park.... they don't? I've never been here. Correct me if I'm wrong. Beyond that I just think people wanna be mad

Coaster Spot with a site visit yesterday. Only notable news is they say they hope to have the trains on the tracks by late Sept, early Oct.

Looking at this pic @sfgadvfan91 posted, someone said that giant gap in the roof was how it will be when complete? If that's accurate, it seems short sighted. It Looks incomplete and not to mention the effect it might have on the ride vehicle/track/mechanisms in the long term. And guests, no shade or cover from potential rain?
Yeah, I heard it's so you can see the tower to build anticipation, but that's not worth the drawbacks imo

That claim just screams post hoc justification for budget cutting by the park if you ask me. Not even sure I believe it will increase tower visibility for the vast majority of the station anyway. Still not worth it if it would, but I doubt it will anyway.
Very much feel like they could've done a tiered roofing structure like Ka had. Not a fan of this open roof concept.

Only way I even remotely see the benefit of leaving the roof open is if they went all in on theming and made the station an open mouth. Get some teeth up there or something. If the track is the tail this could make decent sense.

I doubt there's any cost savings having a partially open roof vs a full one. Maybe slight material savings on roofing, but the partial roof requires more structural posts.
I don’t know what the goal with the open roof is, but it’s hard to imagine cost savings are the reason. The missing section is so small that the extra material costs would be negligible compared to total cost of the structure. It’s not like they straight up didn’t build a roof like Emperor. Plus, as @rswashdc said it looks like they need additional supports to hold up the structure, so it’s possible they’re actually paying more for this design.
As I’ve been saying throughout this coaster’s construction, I’m willing to let them cook and see what the vision is.

I continue to believe BGW dodged a bullet on this one. The spinning factor is already outdone by Hollywood Drift in Orlando among others. The supports are god-awful boring AF for the tower. Apparently the theming for the station is..."let's leave a gaping hole, just because" I don't see this being a huge draw for people to travel the park. Looking like 2027 is the year of expansively-themed super-long track length family coasters which to me just means "more fun for your dollar" and "everyone's gonna enjoy this". Overhyped and underwhelming...that is my prediction for this one. What an eyesore
Curious rides you think are so special and unique that you think provide a more unique expierence than what this will be?
Thank goodness none of the BGW's other coaster types can be found at other parks.
