I wonder if the Wave Swinger is waiting on a part or something since it's still not assembled.
I just hope it's not because they're repainting the panels. They were absolutely beautiful when I visited SFA on closing day last year.

I got a feeling the flying scooters, super round up & hypno twister will open first and wave swinger & barrels of fun will open next

They're upside down, in case you are seriously asking
Yea, I was talking about the panels on the ground not the structure. When you say upside down do you mean the back side? Because those are definitely the front of the panels, they're just missing the paintings in the framed parts.

The panels in the concept art for the area looked like they were rethemed to match a beach theme

I kinda wish they would simply redo what the panels were at SFA to keep the traditional theme

I still just can’t get over how well this has turned out for an area that wasn’t even planned a year ago. The rides are great of course, but the area itself is the real star here with the amount of effort that’s gone into it. Almost feels like something that could’ve been part of Warner LeRoy’s original vision for the park.

Could this be because it was fast-tracked, and there was far less fiddling and bean-counting with the design? Either way, it looks like a home run for the park, and far better than most of us feared.

I think it’s just because we finally have full Cedar Fair level designs at legacy Six Flags parks and none of us know how to handle it because it’s so foreign to see a new, well thought-out themed area at a SF park

I hoping six flags great adventure will invest more into areas like frontier adventures, golden kingdom, lakefront, kids areas and some additions to adventure alley, plaza de carnival & movietown/metropolis (I don't know about the latter due to the whole Warner bros debacle due to paramount) and the kids areas

I low-key forgot. Isn't BoF getting new restraints different from Cajun or was that just a rumor? Do we even know?

For what it's worth, the concept art appears to show individual restraints; we'll see if that actually comes to fruition. A few of the old alligator cars could be seen in the backstage area from Nitro during my last visit, but they were still awaiting makeovers.
