What do we think the 2026 ride is? Something from Six Flags America?
My guess is that it could either be a flat ride package or that 300-400ft drop tower featured on the survey a couple months back
Would be pretty crazy if they figured that while they had the crane they might as well just build a crazy tall drop tower. I don’t see it though, I feel like this late into the offseason it will be a flat that’s quick to assemble, like a Nebulaz

Zamperla's US offices are like 90 minutes away from the park, in Boonton, NJ. Possible they picked up something they had on-hand or another park backed out of. I know I'd vote for an Air Race or a Big WaveZ, which could hold their own as a decent medium-sized attraction for the Boardwalk and inject some new life into it while we wait for 2027. Possible they could have something ready by Summer if they start ground work now.
They could also move some stuff around the park here, like some kiddie rides with a fresh theme. That could be a small-scale project that is mostly done in-house with their maintenance team. Maybe Air Safari has another shot at being put in a better spot?

From Google Earth, they have plenty of room to build stuff in the old Green Lantern footprint. That land should be cleared, so it shouldn't be too difficult to picture more being added in. Maybe even space for new haunted houses, if they want to build some simple enclosed structures from scratch (similar to what was built over by The Dark Knight not too long ago) - these could also be ready by Fall. Lots of space and I'm guessing that they are not giving land back to the parking lot.

Zamparla has a factory in America, but all the attractions are built in Italy
The survey they had sent out a while back have a new kids area as one of the options, Planet Snoopy I think. Though if they are keeping the boardwalk theme then the flat rides package and/or drop tower would make more sense.
I would love for them to repurpose the right stuff building with another modern sim theater. It’ll be great for times when it rains or for different films like they did with Dino or SpongeBob.
You're right about the survey drop tower. It was an option. Could be part of the 2026 additions, though I think a flat package is more likely because they can get it in quicker. Also, if they're doing a 300-400' tower, they'd presumably need an FAA filing and a large crane. We'd see those filings probably. Since we haven't, I presume the tower, if it happens, won't be this year. They wouldn't use the crane for the new coaster for double-duty, I'd think.

Probably, but they'd still need a waiver for the actual attraction itself.
All I'm saying is that if the rumors are true it would be really cool to have the drop towers on the inside of the tower...
I'd lean toward this as a possibility, too. Just thinking out what they could get done in the next couple of months. Ryan has said several times this addition would open in 2026. It's not going to be ready for the March 28 opening, whatever it is. But May/June? Sure, if they get started soon. Painting and re-theming Superman could be the quickest. A big flat from another park wouldn't be too far behind.
The drop tower, I guess, could be a possibility. But there's no sign of construction for something like that anywhere yet. And I'd imagine they'd need FAA waivers and another crane for a 300-400' tower, which we haven't seen yet separate from the new coaster documentation.
It sounds like we'll get the reveal on this mystery in the next few weeks.

I think it has been adequately discussed how downright silly the idea of a drop tower attached to the structure of the new coaster would be.

This is also what has me leaning towards a Superman retheme. The pavement is still freshly torn up leading to it, so it’s most likely not going to be open on opening day unless they really focus their efforts on that. Might as well make the ride finally make sense in the area for the first time while they’re at it.
Great point. They've got 5 weeks to get that blacktop area they've ripped up back in shape. That's just if all they're doing is repositioning things while the new ride station is worked on, then landscaping. If that's all this is, they can get that area ready by March 28 so parkgoers have access to Superman.
Until the announcement comes, I guess we need to keep on eye on what's happening in this area behind the new station for tea-leaves to read on what it might all be about. I'd love a Superman re-theme to go along with what they're doing with the new ride and the land around it. A revamp of the most visible part of the park that first greets visitors would be a nice opening statement to a new era at Great Adventure.

I would not be surprised if the whole end of the boardwalk past the games booths remains walled off on opening day.
