How long do we expect Ragin Cajun will take to install?/when do we think it'll open? I can't imagine it'll be done by the end of the month, but maybe spring- I could see a spinning mouse being ready to go by mid-May (of course, assuming the rumors are true)
It's a portable model so theoretically it could be assembled in a few days after the concrete pad has been poured and set. Then however much time they want to spend repainting/retheming/decorating around it.

In the podcast, Ryan said:
There's a lot of exciting stuff happening around opening weekend and all the way through April 12th when that event run ends. And then as you know then we're looking forward to opening the water park and this construction is going to ramp up. People are going to start to see this coaster being errected, and all of these rides coming together as we get closer and closer to memorial day weekend.

So I'd assume they're targeting an MDW or slightly into June launch. That lines up with when ops ramps up due to the end of the school year, and the project taking place through the spring.

They haven't said anything yet about phasing the rides in or opening them all at once; they might want to do the latter if they want to have a big formal opening day/etc.

It took 4 months to disassemble, transport, and reassemble to SFA supposedly
It was also surrounded by a custom structure at SFGAm, had a custom-designed concrete platform at SFA, and I don't know what kind of urgency they were under during that move.

Like I said, theoretically it can go from a pile of parts to a functional ride in the span of a few days. I didn't say that definitely would happen, if SFGAdv is even getting the ride.

I'd consider late May the best case at this point in time. The actual vertical construction of the coaster will probably only take about two weeks, but unless Six Flags expects it to be temporary and sent elsewhere within a few seasons, there's probably a bit more they'll want to do with the site. than pour a pad and call it a day.

Never thought I’d see the day that the boardwalk wasn’t one of the ugliest areas in any amusement park.

With the temporary wall up to the right in some of the pictures, seems like the flat rides won’t go into the green lantern plot? Unless they will build behind it and remove. Since it seems like the newer pictures have that wall and the older ones don’t.

Those games are really in the way of the new path. That must be the three they are going to demolish.

Figured if three were going it'd be the three on the food side of things and sure enough. Although it's interesting that the new "boardwalk" path heads right at the other three stands. Be interesting to see how they re-align things and all the acres of pavement to make the area less wide open and more interesting.

Ryan got some good looks at the Boardwalk pour, demo'd row of stands, and Swashbuckler.

Per Ryan Swashbuckler, and some of the other rides are going in the old GL plot (which we've seen in the eastcoaster event picture, but good to have more confirmation). They also redid part of the path between the carousel and the new path with a brick pattern in triangle cut-outs. I'm also happy to hear they're going to be redoing the boardwalk facades as part of this project.

I think there are some construction markers in that video off the new concrete Boardwalk section. Not sure if it’s for concrete pathing or new rides just yet, but it does look circular to me.

Now that we know Swashbuckler is moving, they have a fairly wide open plot behind Fender Benders, save for The Shed.

That area is laughably far from a priority, but with Skull Mountain getting up there in age and also seemingly having an identity crisis between being in the dark but having the back door halfway open, and being a low budget rave, this could be a real nice spot for a family boomerang down the line.
