@Zachary - excellent options you mentioned before. All of those sound competent.
The name-botching and lack of real marketing leads me to believe they are not gearing up for any attendance increases by virtue of this being a mild, new attraction, although the theme looks nice.
I don’t know why I feel more and more disappointed with this, but there’s still potential for it to be a treat. I feel like BGW did not understand that they are a business that needs to compete aside from being a “special” park all their own, and that not even 45 minutes away, a really great park is about to get a really great ride that is absolutely the first of its kind in the state AND simultaneously revamp one of the fiercest rides in existence to an entirely different theme, and could market that as a “new” giga experience.
I’ve already had people ask me if the park is going to get a new BBW and I explained with distain how far away from the truth that actually is. Some of these things the park attempts are such a low hanging fruit, but they still don’t know how to cherry pick properly.
Sad to say I think Cedar Fair will be taking more of my money than Sea World Parks in 2025, and to be honest I don’t even want it to be that way, but that’s my headspace right now. It’s so funny that we see these things as being simple objective tasks to achieve for maximum return, yet the mark has been missed year after year after year in succession - Pantheon, DarKoaster, and now this.
