BG is still working on the landscape and lighting. VHB has submitted a site plan amendment (SP-25-0051).



The plan is eight pages and loaded with lots of information. I can't tell what they changed, but the landscape looks lush and dense on the plan.

It's really nice that the park is still adding more landscaping to it, considering the original BBW was the most densely forested/landscaped ride in the entire park before being removed. So, adding more landscaping to the new BBW makes perfect sense.

So I’ve had some factors keeping me away from the park this year, and so my Howl-O-Scream visit was my first, and thus my first chance to get on this.

And, while I enjoyed it fine, am I crazy that the restraint is just straight digging into thighs? Wildly uncomfortable, and kind of keeps me from being likely to revisit it unless with groups of younger kids.

Anyways, what is the operating temp for this ride? Is it shutting down early for xmas town?

It's not fully shut down. It's open a majority of the time. For your trip, check the forecast. If it's above 40F, you should be fine. If it's below 40, all major rides will be closed, including Big Bad Wolf, with only the flat rides and DarKoaster open.

Gotta give props to BGW, that’s one of the best of the theme park “wrapped” posts I’ve seen. The shoutout to that one Oktoberfest song and “You watched the same couple get married 28 times” made me laugh.
