RE: Replacement Project For Big Bad Wolf
I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you want an amusement park go to Kings Dominion. They are good at what they do over there. If you want an experience, go to Busch Gardens. I'll be the first to say that Kings Dominion is the best Amusement Park I've ever been to. I'll also be the first to say that Busch Gardens is the best Theme Park I've ever been to. The key is to distinguish the two. You can't compare apples to oranges and you can't compare Amusement Parks with Theme Parks. They are made to do different things. In my opinion five good coasters is the perfect number. Lets look at Holiday World. Many people would argue that Holiday World is the best Theme Park on this planet. Why? The experience. They have three coasters, all of which are woodies. What puts them apart from say, Kings Dominion who has 4 (arguably 5) woodies? They only build the best. Busch is the same. When Busch builds a coaster they don't go for numbers. It is all about what you value the most: Quality or Quantity. Personally I take quality, however, here are many who would disagree and take quantity. I don't have a problem with that at all. Lucky for us, we have both relatively close to each other. O, and just a side not: Look at last years attendance. The general public know what they want.
