The fact is, Busch Gardens will build the biggest and baddest till the biggest and baddest is no longer fun. That is the key to Busch Gardens' success: A fun and enjoyable experience
for all. In my opinion, rides like Intimidator 305, Top Thrill Dragster, and Kingda Ka just don't do that. They are either too short, too intimidating, or just plain painful. Intensity is good- but only to a certain extent. I don't know how many of you have been on i305 yet, but I, for one, have. Let me tell you, it is not a fun ride. If you have to brace yourself for every turn before it happens, the ride has problems. It is that simple. Apollo's Chariot is a smooth, graceful ride that still packs just the right amount of intensity. The same goes for Alpengeist.
[Insert fancy quote about smarts over size here. Sorry, I was going to have some dramatic ending, but couldn't think of a good quote.]
