Lots of thoosies seem to be forgetting the possibility that some or all of this ride may make its way back to Hayden, ID for refurb/ modifications prior to reaching its final home.
I hope it doesn't show up at Carowinds for storage purposes only. That would be quite the head fake.Would make sense to quickly take it apart and use Carowinds/SFOG as “storage” sights for a year while they plan out everything.
If anyone prefers video formHere's the overview.

If I had to take a guess they’re desperate for money right now. They’re most likely not selling Arie for what they paid for it! As they say, “Play stupid games, win stupid prizes!”I’m shocked they’re selling the whole park
I’m trying to find the post but a few weeks ago when I was trying to narrow down the landing spots I had this same idea. So, uh, I think AF1 reconfigured as a double-out-and-back fits sorta perfectly on the X2 site...
I know it's a bad-sounding fit because SFMM already has an I-Box, but if Six Flags feels the need to rush something major in ASAP to stop the bleeding... Maybe?

Ok, doing some critical thinking in real time here so sorry if this post ends up long or wandering:
Let's eliminate the parks that are leased land or at risk with CGA and SFDK. And take out the ones operated by Enchanted as well with WoF,SFStLMAA, TGE, VF, Mich Adv.
I think any form of lease back takes out La Ronde and SFMexico. I'll also toss in Qiddiya City in this even though it's basically a name leasing.
Next I want to take out the ones with an RMC already with SFoT, SFNE, SFGAmer, SFFT, KD, CP.
Next, I want to take out KBF because of space limitations.
Next I want to eliminate the "is the juice worth the squeeze" ones (aka is the value there to the park) in Dorney Park (height restrictions), Frontier City (OKC market), SFDL (although I really like this destination), and I'm adding Canada's Wonderland (potential tariff issues).
So that leaves the 3 I can make a good case for but also why not:
Kings Island - KI could really use a RMC, and is sort of a flagship for the new SF. Would be a great move for them to add for a lowered cost a great coaster to round out their collection. But the downside is with CP close enough and SV close enough, would they want both of those world class RMC's that geographically close together.
Carowinds - Like KI it could really use an RMC, it's also a flagship for the new SF, but in addition it has the already prepped spaces it could go into. The case for why not - Carowinds is a flagship park, so wouldn't you want to build them something new ground up for a RMC that would be really unique and custom to the park for the first coaster since Copperhead.
Six Flags Over Georgia - It's literally right there and it could really use an RMC. For a park in the decline, having a world class coaster there would really make a difference. The downside here is that the attendance has been declining, Atlanta isn't a major park to get to, and there would need to be some work.
That leaves me the dark horse park that hasn't been mentioned:
SIX FLAGS MAGIC MOUNTAIN
Needs a new coaster/goodwill
Has an RMC
Has the space
Could use new signature ride
Needs investment without high expense
While it does fail the RMC already test, there's a lot of upsides to putting AF1 here. They could use a working from day 1 signature ride that's world class that won't break the bank. Especially if SFCorp decides that X2 is more problematic than it's worth. They have a lot of places it could go with minimal ride modification. And putting the #7 coaster in this park could really give it the anchor it needs to establish (deeper and more recognizably) the West Coast coaster capital that they lack.
La Ronde was sold as well and is owned by EPR now just like the Enchanted Parks so it wouldn't go there. As for Six Flags Qiddiya, Six Flags operates the park and the waterpark just like they do Frontier City and Darien Lake. Qiddiya Investment Company owns them but Six Flags is fully in charge of operations (they do not lease the park, however, which they presently do for Frontier City & Darien Lake). They're PAID to operate Qiddiya. With that said, seeing as they don't physically own anything there, yes...it's a bad fit!Ok, doing some critical thinking in real time here so sorry if this post ends up long or wandering:

Just those of us who enjoy the chaos and want to watch the world burn.My contribution to this conversation is that AF1 going to SFMM to replace X2 would be the single most sacrilegious move in coaster history and would please absolutely nobody
Magic Mountain makes zero sense for AF1 as they already have Twisted Colossus. It would be like putting Tormenta at Cedar Point when they already have Valravn. The public would see it as "Another Twisted Colossus but with one track instead of 2". I have a feeling the X2 site will sit vacant awhile.
We're talking about the park with two mobius loop coasters and two SkyRockets.
Yeah, it's duplicative, but is Six Flags gonna care? SFMM is in a SFGAdv-style crisis, it's one of their most important properties/markets, and they are currently holding the #7 best coaster in the world in their back pocket.
I'm not saying it would be a good idea, but I wouldn't be the least but surprised if Six Flags played AF1 to X2.
