While I agree w/you Zach, let's call a spade a spade. We all know Pompeii is basically a gussied up version of KD's Diamond Falls, complete with "get yourself soaked on the bridge" area, and now only recently enhanced (depending on who you ask) by the water cannons.

The V-12 ride in Ferrari World has a drop zone similar to Verbolten. Hence, that's how you get soaked! Plus it has 3 drops...kind of like Pirates of the Caribbean. Plus there's plenty of ways to theme the ride and it doesn't have to be something like It's a Small World, either.

Perhaps a re-theming of Le Scoot might be in order? Add some panoramas & other New France-specific stuff to it (including sound) and you've got a whole new ride w/o having to actually BUILD a new one!

Sorry if I was all over the map on that...ADHD isn't easy sometimes.....OH! SQUIRREL!

A Eurofighter probably makes the most sense if they wanted to fit it into a small space (which is what they've got really, without removing anything else).

exactly. They could fit a Eurofighter in many places around the park and I bet they could even do an event building kind of thing like they did with Verbolten.

Also no flyer please. After riding Manta a few times, I have to say the worst part of the ride is waiting at the end of the ride. The ride itself is fun and forceful enough, but the capacity sucks and it is uncomfortable when you're not doing anything (read that as going up the lift hill or waiting to get back into the station).

Wait a minute....Let's evict everyone out of the Kingsmill subdivision & turn THAT into a haunted house tour! JK...haha

Actually I was thinking about removing the Land of the Dragons & replacing it with a kid-friendly dark ride. It'd be a nice change of pace for the parents & make them feel like they're not having to constantly watch out for other kids beating up on their own or whatever. I mean really, what's the point of LotD anyways? A short dark ride that kids of any age can ride on would be a nice alternative to Darkastle.

Countries in Europe with rich racing histories:

-Germany
-England
-France
-Italy
-Spain
-Belgium

England doesn't have the space, France is obvious, and Germany is large enough as is. Considering Italy has some good real estate on the other side of the railroad tracks, along with possibly getting rid of Roman Rapids, they could be brought back here. We also could possibly have Spain join the BGW country line-up and it can be introduced as a "new" attraction there.

ON TOPIC: Considering the ideas of BGW's next coaster, they have their bases covered quite well right now for only 6 coasters:
-Grover's is your kiddie coaster.
-Verbolten is the family coaster, also the launch coaster.
-LNM is the looping "family coaster," basically a step up from Verbolten.
-Alpengeist is the Invert, and the major, multi-looping coaster.
-Griffon is the Vertical Coaster.
-Apollo's is the Hypercoaster.

What they're really missing right now is a wooden coaster, since a traditional Eurofighter technically falls under the vertical category with Griffon. A wing coaster can be considered, since the only one east of the Mississippi right now is Gatekeeper (totally different marketing region). BGW can cover the same categories twice, like Kings Dominion does, but in order to keep their coasters different on some level they'll have to choose a style that can fit the category and also be different from it's "cousin" in a marketing standpoint.

Bringing wooden coasters and Eurofighters back into the limelight, they also can fit into the "family" category due to their much less restrictive height limits compared to a Wing Coaster or other major thrill rides. Notable wooden coasters like El Toro, Phoenix, Lightning Racer, and Voyage all have lower height restrictions that allow younger guests to take that big step on a thrill ride with their family. Since BGW is touted as a "family" park having the next coaster with a height restriction around 44-48 inches would naturally be an excellent choice for their next coaster.

Spain has a VERY rich racing tradition as well....Btw, they're the only country in the world that hosts TWO Formula One races, so that definitely counts for something. BRING BACK THE CARS TO BGW!!!!

A really well themed Intamin Aquatrax could be nice. If I'm not mistaking, they can run without water as well meaning it could operate dry during the offseason.

I want one of these at BGW. But since it's made by Intamin maybe some other company like Mack could do a similar one.

A ride like that would be a more fitting addition to the Sea World parks instead... wait.

SWP&E already has experience with Mack, and it seems to be a pretty good relationship since Manta was such a smash addition in San Diego. A ride like Atlantis Adventure also has a very marketable niche that hasn't been tapped into in the US at all. It could also make use of the water pool already existing for Pompeii.

What are aquatrax? Something like Pompeii?

What Unagi posted a few posts back is an Intamin Aquatrax but here's a link to it on Intamin's site as well. As Unagi said, I'm sure Mack could build something similar by request- the key is to build something that allows for both wet and dry operation.

It's the same track style as Verbolten, just wrapped in theming. A park could theoretically wrap the track in anything it wanted.
