That is correct.Laser pointer is what I was told.
I've also heard them say that the math problem is too complex for the bird before during shows. This is why they ask the kids for the math problems, instead of the adults.
Though I think maybe 1/3 of the adults find the arithmetic to be every bit as challenging as the kids do. (If not the bird.)
At a show I attended, a kid asked for the cubed root of 81. I was impressed.I've also heard them say that the math problem is too complex for the bird before during shows.
Also from what I recall they are very clear on what math questions can be asked. Don't they provide the direction that it has to be 2 numerals and that you can only add/subtract/multiply/ divide only once?
Yep, two numerals between 1 and 9 if I recall correctly. Also from what I recall they are very clear on what math questions can be asked. Don't they provide the direction that it has to be 2 numerals and that you can only add/subtract/multiply/ divide only once?
For the record, birds doing math like that have been documented. I'm going to give the park the benefit of the doubt that they're trying to illustrate what's possible.
