From what I can tell about those pictures, it looks like they have some of the older fountain drink machines and some of the Union Jax claw machines lying back there. Just for insight, behind the big white wall was storage for Christmas Town, Arcade, Games, Merchandise, and a few other random things.

Since the park is making this Coke Shop, primarily based on Coke soda products, does anyone think we can expect to see Freestyle Machines at this location? I think there is a possibility to see some, maybe.

Also, noted in Zach's post was missing signage for the Jumpin' Jupiter Arcade and Tradewinds in Festa. Could this be something that won't be addressed for awhile? From what I remember I don't recall the arcade showing any signage at all except for Christmas Town this past year. Those two bars at Tradewinds definitely look stupid without the sign there.

Also a list of all changes made will be add to the original post and updated as new changes are posted.

I don't know if it's installed yet (it seems like they may have hit a slight bump having to do with fire code) but a new shade structure should be going up in Forest of Fun sometime soon. Permit:

I few things I noticed today:

1. all the totems are missing from around Caribou Gifts/Candle carver area.
2. the German Arcade has had the exterior repainted. All the phrases are now readable.
3. Merchandise is being shifted around the park. Jewerly that was in German gifts is now split between Itlay and France.
4. a more permanent fence enclosure is around Aquilla the eagle.

I'm sure when all this took place, I just happened to notice it all today.

I can't thank you enough for telling me about that in the parking thread! For years I've been a platinum pass member, and didn't know about this handy time-saver.

Anyway, to stay somewhat on topic, the park usually repaints a lot of stuff over the off-season. Murals in the Germany section has been repainted many times. However, being a speaker of German, it kind of bugs me to see so many grammar/spelling mistakes. Germans are really particular about spelling.
For example this is one mural that gets repainted, but they never bothered to fix the grammar.:

Everything in Oktoberfest got repainted between 2011 and 2012 as part of their Oktoberfest renovation.

Hey man, you are certainly welcome. But I can't take all of the credit; I picked up that tip from another forum user here. It is amazing what you learn when a group of people share all of their "hidden" insider tips. You know, things the park doesn't exactly advertise but still make available for those that want something extra. :cool:

I have an actual minor change to report!


The ticket booths have been recolored from the brilliant burgundy they have been for years to a gaudy forest green. Not a fan at all. Also, the paint job itself looks somewhat crappy (already visibly chipping in a bunch of places) and the green makes the shingles that they seem to be incapable of replacing look even worse.

Would white paint trim have looked better perhaps?
