It took ten of my dollars last fall. Wanted one of those Android guys in the claw machine really bad!

^I'm pretty sure he meant the game area that used to be in that building with the concession stand.

FWIW, that arcade does tons of business.

It seemed like it was out of commission on Preview Day, tent flap was covering it if I remember correctly.
It does get a ton of business; just as someone who doesn't enjoy the games as much as a flat, I would like to see it replaced. Of course, the park probably sees that as a loss of money, so it's not likely it would happen, but I guess I can dream.:p

I wasn't quite sure where to put this, but I guess it would qualify as a change. It seem German Gifts (the place with the Cuckoo Clocks and Christmas shop is) are temporarily selling Glühwein on colder days during the springtime. It is something that they are "trying" though it technically beaks German tradition.

Like, I can bring my cup and get a refill? or are they just selling it in small cups?

I plan to bring my mug I bought during Christmastown a couple years ago and refill that. It did say refills on the sign so I imagine you can within reason.

I think this thing should be trashed, along with the arcade next to it that isn't used anymore. I mean, that's enough room for a small flat ride. Obviously Festa's already jam-packed with them, but still, even another little kiddie ride like Elephant Run could fit well in there. It's not the best space, but it could work.
I don't think renovating this thing will draw anymore people than it did before it started growing cobwebs on it; which wasn't a whole lot anyway. I could see this as a small project that could lead to a bigger project of renovating Festa (which it is need of having).

The game and the arcade both make substantial amounts of profits, I am not sure if you ever stepped inside the arcade on a day with poor weather but that place gets jammed packed, and then on days when the weather is perfect, the water game next door gets slammed to. Also, that water game is very unique to the park, from what I've heard no other park has anything like it, plus people enjoy getting soaked on those hot summer days.

Yes. But have you ever felt that sense of accomplishment for finally winning that stupid, over-priced stuffed toy?

I wanted the Angry Birds Space Purple Bird too. I got him from E-bay for cheap.

I have only a few times. This one really pissed me off though. I had it fall from the claw twice when it was about to be at the chute. I swear it did it on purpose..... to toy with me.

I used to build, place and fill those with my dad(he owned an amusement/game company). They are set up for it to be more difficult, I refuse to play them from another company because we set them up for a 50% win rate, while others loosen the claw and pack the animals too tight.

I don't think we need another debate like the one at the Busch Gardens Claw Machines thread.

Perhaps a separate thread for games or the arcade would be appropriate though? Rather than a thread specific to claw machines or dwelling the topic of games/arcades in other threads.

GoKarts Plus has one of those water wars style games too. Its on the brochure at least.

Getting off this [sarcasm]incredibly interesting[/sarcasm] topic about games...
Unless they've put it up since I last visited, the little plaque/sign in front of that golden statue at the Wild Reserve side of France is missing...it's pretty weird with that strange statue there without any explanation to the general public who wouldn't have any clue about what the statue means...

White lines have been added to all railroad crossings to help guests realize they should not pass the line when they hear the signals.

Also, did they move the ride info and such for Turkish Delight angled on the beams? Or has that always been like that?

Common sense is no longer common unfortunately.
