yeah, it IS just a drop tower. it may have a few unique tricks up its sleeve but it's not that big of a thing to be excited about. it's definitely not going to be worth waiting in the multiple-hour-long line that it will inevitably have; but guests will still wait anyway.

100% agree. Do not care. I mean, it's cool, whatever, but a drop tower ranks right in there with the Swings to me. Somewhere just above Bumper Cars, but below Pirate Ship.

Speak for yourself, I'll ride the bumper cars before I ride a drop tower any day!

Ehh I think if you get to the park early enough the line shouldn't be THAT long... but I think that Tower Time should be a good value. I mean its only $20

I'll ride it, for the same reason I have ridden Drop Zone six times: my wife likes drop towers, and I will not wuss out on anything my wife will do.

That's how I maintain control of the household.

I am so happy thay no one here is going to ride it. That will just make the line shorter for me and my wife.

I love how we have an "important thread" about Mach Tower that has been going on forever and everyone is watching it closely, but now everyone is admitting they aren't even gonna ride it! Haha

I love drop towers and this will give me one more reason not to go to KD. Looking at the video of testing, that drop seems insanely short, though. The view will be spectacular, which will be the main reason I'll go on this. The drop is just an extra.

I'm definitely gonna give it a try. Should make for some great pics. And my only other experience with a drop tower (if this even qualifies) is that thing in the forest of fun, with my daughter... :blush:

BTW - did you all see BGW's recent Facebook post about the NASA exhibit in front of Festhaus? Maybe they can convince some rocket sceintists to get that POS off the ground...

^ No, I just hate drop towers in general. You go up, you go down, and then it's over. S&S power towers blow Intamin (and probably Moser) drop towers out of the water.
