After the rain stopped yesterday, they were doing quite a bit of testing. The car spins on the way up. The climb takes about one minute (nice and slow). The drop was much short, only a few seconds.

Was at the park today. They were doing full speed testing also working on the ride with the carriage about 40% up the tower.

From the looks of the ride cycle, they best part of this ride will be the view from the top.

I'm guessing this weekend, I think they'll just open it without any announcement, maybe say something on Thursday or Friday on Facebook.

Yes, a friend who works for the fire department said it broke the concrete when it hit. He wasn't there but his chief told him.

Yeah I am hoping that it's old news. Mach Tower was supposed to possibly open to the public next week.

Sounds like it's probably a case of the telephone game. Someone posted on Facebook that it was testing two hours ago. So, if it happened, it just happened. I think the person is probably referring to the previous incident.

This has always been complete BS FYI. The only reason we (the employees) said that was because we can't really say "i don't know" to the guests. None of us ever knew when it was going to be ready but you probably already knew that anyways.
