I wonder if the term 'under promise, over perform' has ever crossed BGW's collective mind?

This is the time of year they need to start pushing HOS. Now is when people are planning fall vacations and the haunt fans are planning their weekends. Im local so BGW and KD for me is a work in around out of town trips but I already have HHN dates and others planned and booked.
That they do. Daughter and I have already made plans to come in October with a stop at KD however if HOS sucks we may only spend a day at BGW and shift our time to KD even though we're both pass members.
Right but your also not the people they need to advertise to. The people they need to grab the attention of are those that are looking for a new event this year or someone that hasnt been in a few years or families that will be in town for something else and they decide that HOS is something they can add to their trip.
Cornered is no longer on the Haunted House page on the HOS website ?.
I can confirm fiends is gone this year. It is being replaced by a new show. I can't say what the show is yet but it will also involve a retheme of Ireland. Also cornered is gone and apparently it won't be replaced. They are reducing the number of mazes. This should allow them to improve the overall quality of each maze.

6 houses is good enough for me. I always thought 7 was too many.
It's funny to me. I always want to say "I would rather have 1 super well performing, great quality, original house than 7 or 8 mediocre houses.
But I think I see the fallacy in this statement. The lines are already bad with 7 houses, and that is generally becuse the crowds are spread around. Even taking 1 of these down without replacement could cause an increase in crowd sizes and not the the better.

This should alleviate some of the pressure with them having so many mazes in small space. It made Germany feel like there were more people there than there was.

Monster Stomp and Nightbeats Revamped are still listed on the HOS Shows page.
They are both returning this year from what I have heard. Fiends is the only show not returning from what I understand.
Rumor has it that there might be a maze inside of Battle For Erie and Jack is back in Killarney. I’m not sure if this is accurate Ive herd it from a employee back in June. Maybe that’s why Fiends is gone.
