IT BEGINS! From Facebook:

Busch Gardens, we are season pass holders and have long enjoyed your park. But I was absolutely disgusted at the German show I saw today for Howl-O-Scream (even though HOS wasn't supposed to start until 6). I felt like I was in some nasty bachelor party. Please live up to your reputation as a family park and get those performers some better costumes and some cleaner shows.

Just a little warning for folks going during the day with children...the show over at the fest house (Germany) is NOT suitable for kids. It’s a sleazy burlesque show. We missed the fine printed disclaimer on the map/show info saying it was an adult themed show. Families beware.

That didn't take long.

Oh and Youhow, I think you'll be VERY pleased with the scarezones. They are marked out/blocked off perfectly.

I'm also very curious about 13- it seems to start in the back of Castle O'Sullivan? I didn't even realize there was a path back to connect that to EiTA.

The whole park (as swift said) was very well decorated- the weakest was probably Rhinefeld, but I sort of expected that.

13 uses the same entrance Cavern of Darkness used. The line wraps around behind O'Sullivan into a fenced off area of the parking lot. You enter through the back of EitA.

^ haha oh.....I thought I had stumbled on to something there. Cavern of Darkness/Masquerage were the only 2 (?) years/houses I missed since HOS started so I wasn't sure.

As far as the nurses- I can't even imagine what the next few weeks will bring if we already have 2 (I'm guessing related) complaints on a night were HOS didn't even technically start and there were only a few hundred there at the end of the day.

Who is going today?

I am thinking about going up around 3pm.

Can anyone please let me know how full the park is? I don't want to drive all the way up there and get turned around again because it is at capacity.

It won't be that crowded until after 5.

Hope not...but $13 tickets scare me...

In my semi-professional opinion ( ) I don't think it'll be too bad. They're predicting rain and possible thunderstorms this afternoon. That'll be enough to scare a lot of people away. I don't think the $13 tickets will have that big of an impact on attendance to be honest.

BTW, I'll be there around 3ish too.
