October 30th visit
Arrived: 5:20; Left: Closing
Crowds: Alright. When we got there, satellite parking was half full, but we got a spot in Germany real close to the stairs. (Avg. wait time: 20min)
Rides:
Mach Tower (Wait: 1 Hour): Finally realized why MT was delayed nearly four months. This line was ridiculously slow, and when we got to the top, there was this deathly shaking noise that you never want to hear when on a ride. (Is that normal?) Grade: D
Houses:
Deadline (Wait: 20 minutes): Exactly the same thoughts as my last review. Acting is still so-so, scares minimal. Grade: C+
Bitten (Wait: 35 minutes): Bitten needs to go. This house was the exact same as last year, and I expected almost everything. And what's with all the sand? Grade: C-
13 (Wait: 26 Minutes): Much better this time than last time, but I'm not sure why. The 'gross out' rooms actually had actors in them, which helps, but that's not the main reason. Grade: A
Fear Fair (Wait: 10 Minutes): Not as good as last time. Many of the huts had absolutely no clowns in them, and there was really bad stacking. Grade: B-
Scare Zones
Stichin' Time: Did I come in at the wrong time? This place was dead. Grade: N/A
Widow Makers: Far and away the best SZ. Also fun to watch other people run. Needs more actors, though. Grade: B+
Unleashed: This one was pretty good, too. However, you could clearly see the actors. Grade: B-
Scavengers: Not very good. Most of the actors looked bored, and were chatting with guests. Grade: D+
Grin & Scare It: Not good or bad, but just in a terrible location. Grade: C+
Shows
Fiends: Corny and plotless, and with lip-synced cliche' Halloween music. Grade: F
Didn't do Catacombs or MSR.
