Do the animals like the horses at BGW get retired after a tenure at the park? I was just curious if by "Losing" you mean getting retired to a farm somewhere or losing them to the great horsefarm in the sky? Sorry if its confusing didn't quite know how to word it.

I’m thinking it passed because of an infection but as i continue to look i can’t find anything

They did lose one to a bad infection in its leg. All the ones that we have are on the younger side so I have no idea if they will retire them at some point but if they do I would guess it would be 5-10 years at the earliest.

For what it's worth the train conductor said that they will bringing in a new cow some time this year to keep the current one company.

I hope that the conductor is correct... for once. I always feel terrible for the poor cow. They are social animals and do not do well when alone.
I thought someone else had posted this but they did get herba little calf to keep her company and from what I have seen from the train it appears that the two are bonding quite nicely.

Not to get to off topic but to different and highly credible and reliable source have given me good reason to reverse my opinion about the possibility of using the Clydesdales for carriage rides at BGW.

Very mysterious.

Reverse it from what to what?

Is anyone going on the 5th that wants to meet up?

A while back I had written in the concept thread a plan to use the area around th old DF site for a carriage ride using th.ge clysdales based on info that I will not get to here as it would create issues for the people that relayed it I no longer think this is a viable idea.

No he was at the stables in the last cage on the left

They rotate them so it's not always the same one in that stall. If you are talking about one of the original black ones. Then you are probably thinking of Gordon who the park sadly lost last year. Post what info I felt I could share as it was rather common knowledge around the park and couldn't be track back easily to any one person in this page a few pages back.
