International Street is proving to be rather confusing this year. So many questions about the area.
How will they set up the Overlord's Resurrection with the planter?
I am beginning to wonder if the Overlord's Resurrection will be on the Intl. Street Bandstand Stage this year. The front plaza was cramped and the walkways going toward the Eiffel Tower were bottle-necked as the scaractors and visitors were all heading back to the rest of the park after the skit was performed.
With the Overload's Resurrection on the Intl. Street Bandstand, there is more room for folks to watch. And, after it is over, there are 3 ways to exit the area, around each side of the tower and under it.
What's happening with the new Haunt dinner event?
Maybe an announcement will be made in September. With the new chef on board, the park might offer the meal over more than just one weekend. Course, if Bistro 75 stays open, the chef is going to be stretched out between cooking for both venues located on opposite sides of International Street
What will they do with the floral clock this fall?
Why does anything have to be done to the clock? Maybe a light Halloween overlay? ... shrug
Will we see any truth in the 30-foot spider rumor?
Since this is not coming from the park, I guess we will find out when visiting the park between now and when Haunt starts.
What happened to the Venetians?
I guess time for a change. Else, the park wants to make sure the mazes/scare-zones are fully staffed. With the park being down one maze for 2014 and if the Venetians are not coming back, I assume the park wants the focus on fully staffing what is left.
Why isn't there a show on the Grande Bandstand this year?
See above.
Goodness, they've left us a lot to wonder about in this area.
We will have to see when the event starts. Will be interesting to see if any of the existing mazes and/or scare-zones have gotten a makeover or tweaked in any way.
I wonder if this slight downsizing of the event is due to not getting enough Haunt employees to properly staff all the attractions or because the park chain is tightening their belt due to this season not meeting their financial expectations.
