Wait what was supposed to happen to dragons? So what opens first Darkastle, I new Big Bad Wolf or the My Little Pony conversion of Land of the Dragons?
The post was from April fool's day was a reference to the first April fool's day post in 2012. It's worth a read for those who haven't been around long enough. https://parkfans.net/threads/april-...s-announces-new-childrens-area-for-2013.1175/Wait what was supposed to happen to dragons?
(also a HTTYD conversion of dragons would be sick ngl)
I'm shocked it's still around. I guess they could find some random use for it later.
Totally agree, DK was amazing for what it was. I can still remember being a kid and marveling at that tower. My family and I loved this ride. It's a shame they closed it because it was one of the few rides were you could get some much needed air-conditioning in the VA summer heat, the ride was perhaps the best indoor movie type ride outside of Universal or Disney. Imho, I feel like BGW needs more of these type of rides not less. Not everyone loves huge coasters. The park has very few smaller rides and most of those are not ever working.
Chizeled out of the entrance (destroyed)Does anyone know what happened to the two wolves out front?

Here you go. And that was the other wolves…not the ones at the entranceWere they actually destroyed though? I thought someone saw them on a trailer rolling down 60 to an undetermined location...
It’s been a long time, but I still haven’t gotten over DarKastle’s departure, and I don’t think I ever will. Universal and Disney’s dark rides may be fancier, but this one will always be the best to me. Nothing can top hearing Ludwig‘s corny lines. Seeing how Busch got rid of the wolves is, for a lack of better words, really, really sad. Is there a logical explanation for why they got rid of them? Since they haven’t put a new ride in, I don’t see why they couldn’t have at least kept the castle looking interesting and themed, instead of abandoned. Here you go. And that was the other wolves…not the ones at the entrance
