I am still haunted by the gingerbread men in DTH. Totally creepy.

Schools are still in session and being a weeknight what are the crowd levels expected to be. Will we still need to plan on arriving 30 minutes before all the shows or will it be significantly better than the weekends? I know weather will play some role but just trying to plan our day.

Learn the importance of Community and Giving Back During the Holiday Season
WILLIAMSBURG, Virginia (Nov. 13, 2017) – In honor of World Kindness Day today, Mrs. Claus and her elves are on a mission to make Christmas BRIGHT with big and small gestures. Throughout the holidays, she will share volunteer ideas for families to do together.
To help with the charge, Mrs. Claus will be hosting a free Family Volunteer Workshop at Das Festhaus on Tuesday, Dec. 5 from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. Families are encouraged to bring a toy to donate to Toys for Tots. The workshop will include volunteer stations along with raffles, a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and hot cocoa. To participate in this event, please R.S.V.P. online prior to Thursday, Nov. 30. Space is limited.
“The volunteer workshop is a wonderful opportunity to teach everyone the importance of giving back,” Mrs. Claus said. “I’m so honored to be able to host this worthwhile event that fits perfectly in the Christmas season.”
Mrs. Claus also will be hosting a Facebook Live series to share volunteer ideas for families and tips to survive the hustle and bustle of the holidays. Join Mrs. Claus Live @BuschGardensVA Facebook at 8 p.m. each Wednesday during Christmas Town, starting Nov. 15.
Giving back to the local community is important to the Busch Gardens family. Each year, Busch Gardens and Water Country USA Team Members rally together in support of numerous local organizations and community outreach programs located throughout Coastal Virginia.
Have you volunteered your time recently? Busch Gardens is asking the local community to log their volunteer time and report those hours back to the theme park. The goal is to collect 5,000 volunteer hours in November and December. If the goal is met, Busch Gardens and Water Country USA will donate 5,000 hours of community outreach in 2018.
For a list of volunteer ideas to make someone’s Christmas bright this year, please visit www.christmastown.com/giveback. Remember to log your volunteer hours.
IMPORTANT PARK ENTRY INFORMATION – Limited space available on a first-come, first-served basis. Collected information will not be shared or sold to third parties. Busch Gardens® Christmas Town™ will be closed to the public Dec. 5. Paid admission is not required and event will only be held in Das Festhaus. Other areas of the park will be closed. Family Volunteer Workshop participants will be required to R.S.V.P. online for entry. Access to the park will be closed and participants will be requested to show I.D. and parking pass at toll plaza. Event details to be sent via email after R.S.V.P. is received. Visit www.christmastown.com/giveback for details regarding the logging of volunteer hours and the Family Volunteer Workshop.
