Even though you are probably joking, that's not a bad idea! You can see the top from most points in the park, and if they sent the carriage up chock full of lights and then dropped it at midnight, that would be pretty effective in my opinion. And hey, it's another opportunity for them to sell booze! And lots of it probably.

From a Christmastown email:

"Busch Gardens® is busy preparing for our brightest time of the year, Christmas Town™. Make sure you stay tuned to your email inbox in the next few weeks for a dazzling, online-only deal that is sure to make your Christmas shine bright."

Any guesses or wish lists?

Personally, I'm hoping for a special on the premium PhotoKey, like they had last year on Black Friday.

But, I'm guessing it'll be $12 days, like last year.

I really hope it's not the $12 deal; it just made a mess of the event. Not enough staff, extremely crowded inside and outside the park. I would like to see maybe better discount days for pass holders or maybe a free "limited edition" Christmastown ornament.

Train maintenance has always been the problem. Verbolten can easily run without one of its trains with a relatively small(-ish) capacity hit. Running four trains on Verbolten vs running two trains on a B&M is a massive difference.

Does this open up the possibility of finally having a New Years Event? Just curious - I've always seen it as a lost opportunity. It obviously would be a risk the first year, however if word got around that the event was successful...
As of right now the schedule posted on the Christmas town website shows a 9 closing time for new years so it looks like no.
