netdvn said:- Festa was full of burnt out bulbs. Something should be done about that. Half the bridge was completely dark. I REALLY wish the park put this much effort into the HOS Festa decor.

chickenking said:I hear the park uses a lot of generators for CT lights.
Party Rocker said:CK hears correctly, all the Christmas lights in the park are powered by diesel generators located throughout the park. The park actually rents the generators and does not personally own them. The only lights that are actually plugged into the park's electric are some of those that follow along the path of the train, otherwise, all generator.
That is why during Christmas Town you will see some extra fences go up around very small square areas, that is fencing to cover up the generators. It also gives Entertainment a good look at how expensive it is for them to power the lights. The one department is in charge of paying those bills for the generators.

Yea they were so rushed this year to get set up that they just forgot to check a few before sending them to be put up. Again, I'm sure they'll be fixed soon.

By the way, it should be noted that there is no ham at this year's event. No, I don't understand it either.
VACoasterFan said:So what would you recommend for the best value for bringing a family of four.
VACoasterFan said:Like you said last year's was good. That was always our go to for eating to get the best value even if the food was a little sub par. And $17.00 seems like a price hike over last year. Correct me if I am wrong.
