Christmas Town

The Annual Passes as we all know have their perks. I was trying to sell a buddy of mine on the idea to purchase one today when he asked me a question about something I had told him about Christmas Town. The CT tickets have always been 50% discounted for Pass Members right? Well today I noticed that the Offer Details for the passes only says "Discounted Christmas Town™ admission." Does anyone know if this is how it has always been advertised, or is this a heads up that the discount may not necessarily be 50% anymore? Just sayin'. :huh:
Its funny, but I go to Christmas Town more than Howl-O-Scream. I would love to be able to switch my "discount rate" to cover Howl-O-Scream and get free admission to Christmas Town. This option would probably be appreciated by parents with small children who are too young for Howl-O-Scream. (Or adult sized chickens like me who get scared easily by clowns with chainsaws).
Well see that's the opposite for me, I normally try and go to hos every weekend, and go to ct once or twice. Maybe they could have an option when you renew your pass on which event you want included?
It's not feasible to charge for howl o scream because all rides are open (with the exception of some water rides) and the park experience isn't really different, your just adding an element of scare, not changing anything. Christmas town, however, provides a unique experience that you can only get at that time of year, hence why they charge for it. That being said, I don't think they'll let you choose which event you want to pay for.

I would personally like to have both Verbolten and Alpengiest open for CT. That way they have two attractions open to spread crowds (and lines) Alpengeist does match with CT anyway, with its ski lift theme.
I agree, I thought Alpen, and Vbolt should have been open. Going even further I bet they would have come up with a Holiday Hills themed name for Apollo as well.
I talked with Carl Lum for a few minutes in the Globe Theater today. He told me that the park is highly considering offering a $30 pass for Christmas Town this year that allows one to visit unlimited times. He also told me that they are considering opening CT for the week before Thanksgiving. Both interesting reports.
I would love to see both of those things happen.

Soooo... I don't know if anyone can say it here or not, but any rumors about CT budget cuts this year? I was just reading the EitA closing news, with Zachary hinting about other things being cut that he couldn't post yet. *crosses fingers* Please, oh please, oh please, Don't let it be CT! Couldn't make it last year, and I'm planning our Xmas vacation for this year right now. I'd BETTER be able to see Holiday Hills, and all the other little additions that I missed last year!!! I don't even care if they jack up the CT price this year! I'll pay more! Just don't you dare take anything away!
