I don't know if this counts as an expansion, but from what I recall, the middle pathway between Scotland & Germany is closed off during CT. I don't like that.
I think it would be awesome if there were some kinda special themed decorations down there lining the bridge walkway with maybe some carolers or musicians on both ends in the larger areas. I can think of many reasons why this won't happen, but it is sad for me to see space sitting unused. Plus, I actually do like hanging out down there, regardless of the "heart attack hill" & stairs. :)

Actually CK, from personal experience, the river always seems to be drained somewhat and the bridge gets disconnected during the winter. It typically just sits there and floats like an island.

I would swear the path between Scotland and Germany was open for the first CT. I have pics somewhere. Anyway, it was pretty on the bridge with the lights. I was bummed that they didn't decorate it again.

I know all y'all have issues with the Pompeii area, but I think those lights were some of the prettiest in the park last year.

I also like polar pathway. I also love the lights reflected in the water. The boats covered in lights is the coolest thing about illuminights.

Hope this helps- the photo is not at night, but in the daytime. This was in 2010 when the Rhine River froze over. You can see the blue trees on the Grimm's Landing bridge and the white lit trees as well.

This was a beautiful day to visit the park!

I absolutely love this picture! Was this during CT open hours? Can't tell if this is late or early. Gorgeous! :D

So, I found my pictures of the bridge between Scotland and Germany. I appologize for the quality: it was my old camera. There were not a lot of decorations, but it was kind of serene, if that makes any sense. It was also extremely cold, as I recall, and I was dressed for dinner.

The first year, each hamlet had a color theme, which is why all of the lights are blue.

Anyway, here they are.

I really like the reflections in the water from your first picture.

Thanks!

I thought the area was pretty and sparkly. Unfortunately, that old camera really didn't do it justice. The blue lights on the water were really nice. I really wish they still decorated there, but that first year you could tell they were experimenting with things. I was looking through my pictures and realized how much CT has changed since then.
