I missed it. The deal landed on a day I worked from 7:30 am till 7:00 at night. I am unable to go online at work as we have a strict policy on web surfing or carry a cell phone as we are not to make personal calls on the floor. One of my friends who came to work later told me about the deal and I had hoped it would last for at least the end of the day.

I was very sad and disappointed to get home from a very long day at work and realized I missed out due to my work schedule that day. I was bummed. If it had been today- I would have been able to buy tickets; tomorrow - no- Sunday -yes. In a way, it is like pealing off all your McDonald's Monopoly prize tickets and loosing. Had I bought the same dinner today- I may have won. Grr. Oh well.

It was a great deal- I wish they had given working folk a little longer to partake. I hope they have this deal again. (On a day I am off from work). :-/

SMALL UPDATE ALERT! The website has not changed overall, BUT I have a feeling the update is very close. This is for the simple fact that if you check the website the new italian show "miracles" is NOW LISTED!!!

Correction, they have now added the new show, the italian artisans store, da vincis cradle, and two italian food stops to the site. Along with a quick queue button. :)

^
In addition to "Miracles" being listed, they have also added DaVinci's Cradle in the rides section as well as Ristorante della Piazza and the coffee/wine shop to the dining section.

EDIT: oops, COMPLETELY missed the last part/your edit. haha. Well, the point still stands. I am curious why only DaVinci's cradle will be in operation. Perhaps weather, but I would think the battering ram would work fine.

I'm pretty sure theyre not finished yet. There are tons of games and rides in the Festa Italia/San Marco section that should have no problems operating in cold weather. (The tea cups, flying machine, etc.) The only ones that obviously wont be running are the water rides.

I doubt Festa will be open (unless they operate it like last year and use it for overflow). Also, I know that the Battering Ram can run in that weather because it was open last year whenever they would open Italy.

I've always assumed Festa would not be open. But, I'm really not so sure. They do say "Italy" which of course could mean either or both San Marco and Festa. They did say that there would be 1 million lights in Italy alone, which was as much as the either rest of the park last year...so that makes me think Festa may be open.

I don't really know. Going with the assumption it's not, they hopefully will be pleasantly surprised if is. ;)

Okay and as of tonight all Italy information has disappeared...

That's kind of a crappy thing to do Busch...

Unless theyre about to release the final site which would be fine.

But the same thing happened last year on the CT site. One day it would say something, the next day gone, then the next day it was back...ugh...

So confusing.

well there you go. no festa. looks nice....some things to note:

1. oktoberfest rides area looks a little different
2. the walk from england to italy just might end up being the best path in the park with its seclusion

EDIT: hey the skyride is open this year too

OMG! It is! :D YESSSSSS. :)

They also added the cable cars to the site. I don't know if they were running last year but they were not listed.

The rides for Italy aren't listed on the map BUT they are listed on the rides section. :)

Some rumors to keep in mind, maybe they MIGHT happen:

-Real reindeer?
-Sleigh Rides?

I have heard both things mentioned before so who knows. :)
