Looks great. Notice that Katapult is gone.

I'll be there on the 26th.

I'd be willing to bet that Sesame will be open next year...

Either that, or Festa will open with all rides and games, minus the water rides.

Or both could open. lol.

I doubt Apollo's will be open IF Festa is open. If you take note... that coaster is by far smoother in warmer air than cooler. Grease break down point, wheel material composition, etc. They all play into the effect of temperature on the rides.

I'm still very confused. Why is neither Land of the Dragons nor Forest of Fun included in the festivities??? ALERT: Wasted space. I always knew that Christmas and the holidays were geared towards everyone, but I guess the park doesn't believe kids are really into it. Who knew?

Land of the Dragons in understandable. The park doesn't want parents letting there kids loose on a huge play structure in 40 degree weather. As for Forest of Fun, I have no idea. It seems like it SHOULD be open, but it isn't.

Is anyone else doing the Christmas Town Dash 8K presented by Chick-fil-a????

My mom and I are and we are so excited...

Benefits include:
Free long-sleeved t-shirt
awesome finishing medal
free cfa at the finish line
AND a free one day pass for next year!!!!

its over a $100 deal for only 40!!!!
Plus we get to run throughout the ENTIRE park decorated for Christmas Town =)

Just released the NEW show for Italy.

Name: Miracles
Country: Italy

Join Busch Gardens for an uplifting celebration of the spirit of Christmas in the Il Teatro di San Marco Theatre. This passionate production in Italy fuses classical and contemporary styles through powerful movement and dance. Accompanied by live vocalists, this ensemble of dancers will inspire guests to believe that anything is possible.

That sounds like the ChristmasTown show that I was hoping for last year. I enjoyed Deck the Halls and Rejoice, but I wanted something a little more serious than Deck the Halls and not as serious as Rejoice.

YAY! I will be there with my family on the 26th as well. That is my and my mom's birthday. First time my mom will ever be at BGW she is as excited as a little kid.

I would love to meet up, just to put a face if you are going to be there. If not, its all good.

Looking forward to CT for my first time this year.

i don't have any pictures to show but while i was at BGW i saw how they plan on enclosing the pavilion area in italy. it pretty simple. its just some nice walls with windows that fit in the spaces along the outer edge of the theatre. while it looks like it won't keep you that warm im sure it will do a good job of blocking any wind and keep some heat in

Just wanted to bring you guy's attention to this: the Skyride will not be used for transportation purposes; this year it will be used as "The Flight of Lights"-a roundtrip voyage, 80 feet up, which gives you the best view of ChristmasTown in the park. Thought it was interesting that they won't be using it for crowd dispersion. Anyway, the views should be great.

Here's the link: Flight of Lights

Also if you look up in the right hand corner it states that the park will host an "all-new live Sesame Christmas show." Do you think they just forgot to change it from last year? I doubt a show one year old would get sacked. Maybe they just did a renovation of the show.
