Tomorrow's 6pm showing is booked solid. Looks like next Saturday's 12:30 and 4pm showings are at capacity too (assuming next Saturday had a 12:30 like last Saturday and this Saturday).

Looking a little further out, it looks like they're planning to tighten up the schedule some in the weeks ahead with only an hour and a half between sessions (2pm, 3:30pm, and 5pm). That should help lower the break-even point some.

Towards the end of the currently-listed run they only have 2pm times listed. Hopefully the idea is that as a 2pm begins to fill, they can open a 3:30pm and then, subsequently, a 5pm if demand allows it? Assuming that's the plan, I think that's a great solution. The last thing they want is to have only a handful of parties spread across three or four shows on the same day.

I understand that they don't want to open additional showings if they don't have to, but I'm trying to book for a party of 4 on a particular date, and it won't allow me to because there is only one slot left. I wonder how many other groups will be skipping it altogether because they won't roll the reservations over to a new timeslot? They could be underselling themselves quite a bit because they are dead set on filling all available spots.

Can a kindly individual please book the last slot for us? 😆

They would rather loose your business and leave a family dissapointed rather than open a new time slot.....reason being if they open it and only a few people book they may only break even or loose money. the Dollar comes before the guest experience.

Very simple thing they could implement is "Not an available slot on your desired day? Check below for a listing of additional slots that may become available and sign up, if we decide to add an additional slot we will notify you first to make your booking before adding the public listing"

No they just need to have a set number of shows per day, and probably more on weekends and holidays than weekdays. Offer a discount for booking 24 hours or more but offr walk ups. In fact have people in the parks that search out folks enjoying adult beverages and walk up to them with a spiel like, "hey, that drink good? You know theres a secret speakeasy near here that has some good drinks.Go to the candy store in Germany and tell them Bob sent you.....secret word is Black Forrest".

Sounds like a great way to have too many people show up and then really piss people off.

Yea your right, it’s far better service to the guest to just keep people from being able to enjoy something by keeping it closed or telling people “we are sorry you didn’t plan days ago to come to this and even though there’s no one in there you can’t go in either.

If there’s the space and someone shows up, yea let them in.

Don’t announce it in the park though. Then you get 30 people showing for 5 spots and you got a lot of pissed people.

As one of my employees likes to say: “your lack of prior planning is not my emergency.”

Yes. You’ve stated that 3 times now. I’m asking a follow up question that’s gone unanswered of what happens when more people than open spots show up?

Or are you going to seek out these people and ask them to pay to do something they haven’t showed interest in yet? Because for as much bellyaching as has been going on about added charges I can see them seeking out people to pay more going over so we’ll (/s).

Or what if they start telling friends “oh no need for a reservation, they will take you at the shop.” Then you have more people than the place can handle showing up unannounced.

I think a better option would be when people use the kiosk out front, have a splash page showing openings for times that day as an add on like I get online for all day drinks/QQ/Photokeys.
