Bürgermeister's Hideaway is an upcharge dining and entertainment offering that debuted in Busch Gardens Williamsburg's Rhinefeld hamlet on July 20th, 2022.

The park's official page for this experience can be found here:

I honestly find it slightly odd that nowhere during booking, on your confirmation, or on the map does it tell you where this location is. At least if it's there, ive missed it.

I like the hidden nature of it, but dont hide it so much that no one knows it exists.

New member benefit for August 1st through 7th: "Log in to Member Portal to receive 20% off your reservation to the all-new speakeasy experience."
At this point it’s gonna take a hard grassroots movement to make BGW/SEAS realize that highly themed experiences is what the public wants. Would love to see a bumrush of reservations happen in this time.

That would give the impression that we want to pay more for theming rather than have it included as it used to be.

That does not sound like it is booking out every day if they are already having a discount of the reduced limited time price?

Yeah, as mentioned previously in this thread, they very much are not booking every session. Basically every time I've looked, sessions still have availability day of and typically within hours of the start time.

Since, as far as I know, they  still aren't taking walk-ups (because they hate money I guess?), I think it's fair to assume that the vast majority of their showings haven't been made to a capacity audience.

This doesn't mean that it's failing of course—the break even point is probably somewhere around four sales per showing—but it definitely seems like it's not a booming success yet. Worse, I suspect that Hideaway is a MUCH better experience with a larger audience. I can't imagine the experience being nearly as compelling if you're one of two parties present.

I want to go, but I'll have my kids with me. I sure as hell won't pay for them and I don't want to be the only family with kids
For what it's worth there were two families with preteens during my visit. They all seemed to enjoy the experience and the staff did a great job with them.

My kids are 4 and 8. It's the price that is most concerning at that point. They would probably barely touch the non-alcoholic drinks.
