Bürgermeister's Hideaway is an upcharge dining and entertainment offering that debuted in Busch Gardens Williamsburg's Rhinefeld hamlet on July 20th, 2022.

Bürgermeister's Hideaway is not operating until March 9th. Why?

Part of us want to think it's nothing and just taking a break and save money on times when the park isn't that busy.

other part of us is looking at how the kings cakes booth aka Germany funnel cake shop . Is also not retfor mardi gras. Which has us think maybe there is an issue with something.

I hope it's doing well for the park, because this is such a great step in the right direction with themed entertainment and extras.

I can't say that I've seen more than just the two showtimes for a long time, and some visits they only seem to have the 2pm show. The actors are out roaming most days that the Hideaway is open, promoting the show. Whether or not that's a good sign, who's to tell.

I can confirm that the cocktails are damn tasty. The basil peach combo worked surprisingly well and was very refreshing. I like sweeter drinks and I was pleasantly surprised by the dragon fruit marg. Probably my favorite drink of the day. The orange creamsicle was still pretty good, but the partial carbonation from the Fanta being diluted with the alcohol was a little weird. It was also much less creamy than I’d expect a creamsicle drink to be.

I’m super happy I decided to try this out, and I’m gonna try to imitate these drinks and that heaven-sent popcorn. Good lord, I almost unironically asked for a refill on it- so good.

May have missed it in the HoS thread, but has anyone talked about the BurgerMonster thing they are doing? I could've totally zoned out but I feel like this wasn't advertised much at all, I just stumbled on it by looking into booking.

I hadn't seen anything about it in any advertising or elsewhere, but the actors hinted at it when we were last there.

Edited to add, I just checked the website and if they're genuinely doing a whole new storyline, that's awesome. Shame we aren't able to make it back this year.

Do you have to be 21+ to visit Bürgermeister's? I'm just wondering because I know they also serve seasonal mocktails, and I'd love to try them out. Thanks y'all!
