Or at least more than a broken noseTo be fair, if a goose had hit Fabio in his face first and not hitting the camera, he would probably be dead.
Im pretty sure the goose died anywayTo be fair, if a goose had hit Fabio in his face first and not hitting the camera, he would probably be dead.
Weather conditions could mean thunder and lightning within 20 miles. So it could be perfect at the park but not at great 20 miles away.In line at AC and they are shutting down for weather conditions. Huh? A breeze? It's 70 degrees and perfect. Wtf? Are the murder hornets back?

I know but radar was/is clear. Also it used to be 10 miles many moons ago. Just really not having a pleasant experience right now. Some creep tried to walk behind my daughter on the Italy to Germany bridge. Not going into too much detail but sufficient to say my night is ruined.Weather conditions could mean thunder and lightning within 20 miles. Winds were gusting pretty hard 10 miles down the road most of the evening. I could easily see winds being high enough at Apollo's highest point to trigger a shut down.In line at AC and they are shutting down for weather conditions. Huh? A breeze? Yes but even the relatively short height of Apollo's lift is high enough for winds to be higher then what is measured by many wind gages and that is the location that it's judged off of. I don't know what Apollo's wind limit is but I would think that gust 0f 40MPH would likely be enough to force at least a temporary closer.Wind Data

Apollo ended up closing for the rain yesterday, I’m figuring it was the wind because the gusts on the ground were rough. Rain by itself doesn’t usually shut down Apollo.A gust of 40 will sound the wind alarm and will require a 15 minute shutdown. Every time it goes off, the clock starts over again. I'd say wind is the answer. Back in the day, we would actually say it is for high winds so guests knew that was the reason.
Back in my day, we operated AC in a Tropical Storm! Get off my lawn! Damn hippies!A gust of 40 will sound the wind alarm and will require a 15 minute shutdown. I remember those days, it was around 2003 when I rode it in one of those tempests and it was PAIN, but a wild, awesome pain. Back when I felt invincible, and never thought BGW would be anything but amazing.Back in my day, we operated AC in a Tropical Storm! Get off my lawn! Damn hippies!
