Love this. Maybe a flat ride beyond the words "Seating Area"? I'm going to keep beating the NebulaZ-themed-to-Virginia-Reel-drum until you guys are sick of it. 😅

Oh, they should definitely do this as part of a larger Old Virginia update and, eventually at least, there should be a major new coaster station on the go karts plot with a layout heading out towards I-95—gotta keep those Old VA hyper dreams alive!

I sketched out the cheapest/fastest/easiest/roughest version of the idea, but longer term, my ideal vision would be to shut down the existing path past Grizzly Gulch towards Timbers all together and put a major flat or similar in that area—maybe something like this?

Broadly speaking, guest flow at KD is a huge mess right now. It would take a lot of projects like this over the span of many, many years to fix, but I hope KD at least has a grand, broad strokes vision sketched out internally with changes like this that they can tackle as Cap-Ex is appropriated to adjacent areas of property.

I could see Railblazer being moved to Carowinds. There's a big plot of land opening up where Nighthawk was that it could fit nicely into, likely leaving a lot of the water areas opened back up.

The above, plus a legit plaza for Grizzly at KD, would be good outcomes for both parks.

Letting myself be greedy for once, with Carowinds being my new home park, I’d be absolutely thrilled by this lol. Really can’t wait to get out there for the first time, potentially in the next few weeks.

Before Iron Menace was announced, I would have bet on Dorney getting RailBlazer, seeing as RailBlazer replaced the ride that became Stinger and then Stinger was removed.

Another wonderful idea I've thought of for Old Virginia is a blatant ripoff of Adventure Express from Kings Island, repackaged in a Virginia coal mining theme. Appalachian Express will be themed to a blast from the past coal mine from 100 years ago. A team of decoration experts from Knott's can help with theming it. A big gift shop and a restaurant called Miner's Grub Grill can open with it.
Who would build a new-school mine train? Maybe Vekoma? Or making this an RMC Wild Moose?

I think ultimately cyclone will be gone and think that corner would be a good fit for rail blazer.

Adventure Express style, Jinma or Zamperla with laterals cloned from CCI !

A great fit would be a version of Screamin' Swing that slowly lifts you to 95 degrees and then lets you go, 20+ people at a time.

Honestly, as insane as it sounds, I’d rather not do that trade. This is the first time I’ve had an Arrow looper at my home park since 2010 and I wanna keep it that way for a few years lol
Same, I enjoy Carolina cyclone. Best big coaster outside of the top 4. There are so many other coasters that are miles below it like cobras, vortex, and hurler

I just can’t seem to escape stand ups no matter how much I dislike them, KI was my only home park that didn’t have one when I lived there. This is also somehow the first time I’ve had a standard boomerang at my home park.

Some flat rides in that spot would be nice. Especially with Berserker gone, it would be a nice fill to get something new there. Something like Tundra Twister or Soaring Timbers would look great, especially if it's well themed to match Old Virginia. I would also like to see a new entrance for Grizzly. After all these years, it's still weird having to go through a gift shop to get to it. When I was at the park on Friday with a coworker who hadn't been in years, she said she never would've found Grizzly if I didn't show her. I'd love to see the entrance have a plaza similar to when it first opened with the bear statue in the center.

Vekoma would be a great choice, but we've seen family coasters from almost every major manufacturer over the past few years. Anyone could cook one up these days.
