We're getting really close, but I honestly don't believe we're past the point of no return just yet.

Current demolition line:

15105

Also something interesting to note: A few supports have been cut off at the mountain or extracted from the mountain past the demolition line above. As far as I know, this is the first time we've seen this happen.

Support holes:

15106

Huge thanks to @Johnkleindl for these regular updates!

Maybe that has something to do with the proximity to Avalanche? But that’s a very interesting observation nonetheless.

I was wondering the same as to why a couple vertical supports were taken out without removing the mountain exterior like the rest of the demolition areas. I makes me wonder if the park is trying to keep as much of the front facade while keeping the back half open for demo now and future reconfiguration/expansion for what will come.

I just moved a bunch of recent posts from this thread over to the Volcano Replacement project rumors thread, here:

This thread should be used to discuss current progress on coaster and mountain removal.

The rumors thread linked above is the right place to discuss possible future development on the Volcano site.

Hard to tell. Did they chop open the top of the mountain?
