How in the world did that train get dispatched with him like that, or did he somehow get out of the restraint(s) after departure? Ridiculously dumb & unsafe IMO.
Clearly they knew that you only have to get the harness far enough to clear. At the minimum level, a thiner person can experience this while riding. Ops are supposed to press down on the harness, but if the guest isn't sitting all the way back in the seat, it will leave a large space between the harness and the guest. If you hold it during the launches, the harness will stay that far away.

Recording of the video exists, you may be able to find it if you ask around. I'm not going to post it.

An interesting coincidence, one of the IG accounts that had it posted (seems there were more than one) had nothing but poor edits of my photography posted. Left is their account, right is from my Flickr page:

Shortly after being called out, they locked the account and changed their username and profile photo:

Unsure if this was due to me finding the account or them trying to separate themselves from the Verbolten video. From what I've been told the person in the video has previously been banned from Fun Spot for doing this on Mine Blower, and has friends with similar stories. Here's a clip of Logan from Onetrainops doing the same thing on Voyage during Holiwood Nights. I'd imagine that BGW has been made aware of the post, but haven't personally sent it to them so can't say for certain. I think it's important to address this with the Verbolten crew, especially if guests are attempting to do this on purpose.

I had a feeling the account would try to delete that video; I snagged this so people would know what happened:

Such a terrible, dangerous idea.

So this guy is a serial restraint-evader on top of stealing photos. I already feel sketchy enough doing the B&M Hyper Scoot on installations without seatbelts (non-Cedar Fair parks). Obviously Cedar Fair seatbelts render the scoot ineffective. I'm wondering why it's called "Skyrush Method"...

And while I'm here, I wonder why Zierer hasn't done more major coasters since this and Impulse. I have nothing against them, especially when they provided a successor for Morey's Flitzer. Only against this ride.

The person who owns the account isn’t the person in the video, just someone who’s associated with him. The person in the video does stuff like this all of the time though. Like Zach said, he’s been banned from Fun Spot for doing it on Mine Blower, and then there’s the Holiwood Nights situation.

He's lucky he's not the second Holiday World fatality from undoing restraints.

While on restraint defeating, some guy, "zanzibar_eggs", claims to have done so on Mystic Timbers. He was downvoted into the toilet. Maybe the Verbolten restraint evader is the same guy?

I replied in that thread too. Let me make it clear, my rides on Georgia Cyclone and Talon were the restraints popping up a notch on their own, I did not intentionally defeat them, and they were still restraining me safely. Moral of the story, SFoG's operations suck.

I mean I know the dude’s identity, I’ve talked to him in the past. I’m not sure he would make a Reddit account to comment something else. He’s done things in the past and chances are he’ll keep doing them, especially at ACE events.

Wow, sounds somewhat risky/dangerous IMO.
